Sunset Meat Market

We stopped by because friends recommended it. We were underwhelmed.Prices were somewhat lower that the Troy meat market but the grade of beef and pork was not to the same level. Chicken is cheaper at Aldi and Meijers.I really doubt that I'd come back.

Cashier service was awful. Management was not concerned with feedback or didn't care enough to respond back to client's experience. Management should be aware that service is every bit as important at product. Employees are the biggest asset that a company had but it can also be the biggest liability. In this case Sunset Market lost a client(s) and Haren's Meat Market gained one.

I've been a customer for over 20yrs, but today is my last trip to Sunset. I know it's not a big deal loosing me as a customer, but that would account for about 600-1400 in annual sales. I won't go into deal tails, but they made a choice and I will be buying my meat from either Winners or Haren's from now on. I even went to Haren's when I left Sunset and spent 42.97. I would like to wish Sunset a happy life.

If you want excellent cuts of meats and friendly, professional service, this is the place to go. Their deli and frozen sections are top notch as well. If you get a chance try their marinated meats. Made in their own marinate sauce.

Got an 8 pound prime rib. Very great quality. 8lb was around 91$. We pre ordered it and picked it up a couple days later. Their service was weird, it looks like it's a queue where you have to walk through the lanes until you get to the cashier... Wasn't crazy about that being that we were just picking up, but overall very pleased with the experience... Especially for being a small town spot.

Great place to get meat for the holidays or any time of the year. Whether it be steaks, turkey, hams, prime ribs, whatever. They have it all and it is all fantastic.

I ordered a meat and cheese tray for my wedding . I went to cashier and was told i had to wait in line with 7 ahead of me . When I asked why, I was told i had other people on front of me who need to order first ? Umm i ordered 4 days prior !!!! Soon as they took the other orders( they just took them and was getting started ) one of the workers who wasn't involved with anyones orders but mine grabbed my tray then they moved me to the cashier . It was all for not they still moved me in front of those people . I have discussed this with at least 70 people and they are like wow !!!

Andy and his team did a graduation party for us and did an outstanding job. The pulled pork, brisket and potato salad is excellent. We highly recommend and look forward to his services for our next 2 grad parties!Keep up the good work Andy!Sklop

First time I stop by the sunset meat market on march 1 2016 looking you can find a good deals on any of meat I get buffalo cheese patty and cheddar wurst and roast beef thin slices real soft and beef sticks and French fries Cook the cheddar wurst and French fries for dinner they was so good I want more I will definitely go back buy more staff was do nice ask if I need help always support your local meat market then big chains food store
