The quality of everything here is always amazing. When I want a good steak, (or any high quality meat honestly) Kroger is now out of the question... I'm coming here. I will forever be a lifetime customer!!

For over a half a century these guys have been the pinnacle of culinary excellence when it comes to the protein facet of your meal table.I remember back in the 1990s when a young man I called Dr. Oaks would cut my fillet mignon's so thick that Jeff Ruby was jealous. Pass up on the national grocery chain and hit this classic when you want the best.

First time in the store. Purchased ground beef, mustard potato salad, and bacon. All delicious. Yes, I paid more. But I am happy to do that to support local small businesses. I will be back gor more, including skirt steak.

Gone here for awhile, good red meat and chicken selection, little to no seafood (not a surprise). Don't waste your time getting a deli sandwich though, their prices on cold cuts are fine, but a carry out sandwich is literally on a loaf of wonderbread with a few slices of (iceberg)LTO, for $6. You'd be better off buying the ingredients here and taking them home to enjoy. Now that I type that out I feel like my disappointment is my own fault for being stupid enough to pay them to make it for me.

I have been to this local butcher several times. If you want to go to the cheapest place, look elsewhere. If you want custom service and pay for quality, come here. The butcher, Patrick, is fantastic. He can school you on a cut of meat or point you in the right direction of ways to go for protein. Should the meat be braised, roasted or pan fried?...he will tell you.Great local meat store. Few exist any longer, They may not have veal shank in stock, but they will get it for you.

The ribeyes we bought for grilling were very tasty. They were much much better than Kroger's (steaks). I would definitely return; 'am a person who patronizes local business (vs. "chains") when the product is of quality. Again, Yes, I will return.

Summit Meats is a nice little butcher shop with good selection. We especially like their "Q Sauce," and it wouldn't be summer without it! It's tangier than a BBQ sauce and just amazing on anything. You can tell it's handmade in small batches because it sometimes has a thicker or thinner consistency. I like that craftsman feel. So that's a lot to write about a sauce, but if you tried it, you would understand!

We have been shopping at Summit Fine Meats for close to 20 years, for a reason. However, the quality has gone downhill fast while the price has been increased tremendously. Some of the products are decent quality but they often sell meat that is well past its expiration date. Hopefully their quality improves.

Great selection of quality meat. Service is awesome. Prices are high but well worth it because we never have to worry about quality.

this is the second time they have sold us spoiled meat. my wife purchased some Skyhaven smoked turkey breast. when she opened the package , it smelled so bad, we immediately threw it in the garbage. the other time, she purchased some ground beef. got it home and it was red on the outside, but gray and old on the inside. If you are Summit Meats, take some pride in selling us fresh meats. don't pass off your old and spoiled meat to the customer. we can no longer trust summit meats. will not be back.
