Stump's Bowling Lanes

So fun! Didn't know how much fun bowling can be! I enjoyed it. The lanes were nice and it was good clean fun:)

Cute little bowling alley! Nice if your looking for a low key place to bowl without a ton of people around. Great for birthday parties. Is definitely out of date and a bit run down but the people are very nice and helpful.

Nice Sunday night deals, but plays a questionable mixture of music. Also had my card compromised the day after I used the ATM in this place

I planned a birthday party for my son at Stump's. It had been a very long time since I was last there and remember it being an OK place. I was a little nervous since I didn't take the time to check it out better first - but I didn't have a plan B so just went with it! I was easily able to reserve our desired time over the phone. There are 2 packages basically. 2 hours of bowling with or without pizza. We went with the pizza package. The prices are very reasonable. Well, I was very pleasantly surpised by our great experience. The bowling alley was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. They had tables ready for us to use when we arrived. We set up our stuff - we brought cupcakes and some balloons to decorate. They had a freezer we were able to use for our ice cream. They logged the kids onto the alley as they arrived, gave them shoes and they were ready to go. This was truly a hassle-free party and probably cheaper than if I had hosted at home. A nice selection of reasonably priced beers were available too. The pizza might have been the biggest surprise of all - it was delicious! I have kept my expectations of bowling alley fare pretty low but their pizza was awesome. I figured it was just a really well cooked foodservice frozen pizza but they told me they were homemade. You could tell in the flavor and the fresh spices on top. We ordered an extra so everyone could have some and there wasn't a single piece left! At the 2 hr mark of the party we settled up (cash only BTW) and they let the kids finish up even their games even though the lanes were starting to fill up. The kids had a blast and the adults had a great time too! I would highly recommend Stump's for an evening or afternoon of bowling (with Pizza!) and especially for a party for a kid of any age! A true gem on the westside!!
