Nice place to stop in the heart of Clifton/UC area. I was desperately thirsty and first visited another convenience store and their credit card minimum was less than my drink. Stop-N-Go hit the spot and had a great variety of beverages, both alcoholic and n/a. The lady behind the counter was friendly and chatty. Nice! I left with a nice cold vitamin water type drink and was no longer thirsty. I loved the Natty Light box dinosaur. Only in a college area right?Bonus, they have a parking lot, a rarity in this area.

Stop-N-Go, or as the college crowd calls it, Stop-N-Rob is actually a very decent little corner store. It has an excellent location, right next to campus and on the way to the highways or downtown. I never went into Stop-N-Go until recently because of all the nicknames that is owns but recently I wanted a coffee and decided to venture in as I was passing by. One thing I noticed is how well maintained the building and interior were. Being in Clifton you see a lot of grungy buildings especially from corner stores like this but I was pleasantly surprised.I walked over to where the coffee was and realized that their selection took up almost a whole corner of the store. This was nice to see as most gas stations or store like this only give you two pots of coffee and a vanilla cappuccino machine. Here, though I could pick from a variety of coffees, cappuccino and lattes drinks. Not up to Starbucks or Coffee Emporium selection obviously, but it was still nice I didn't have to pour 4 hour old coffee into a tiny Styrofoam cup. Next to the coffee was a pretty decent donut and muffin cabinet. To go along with the nice selection was the fact that it was only 99 cents. Grab a Coffee Card and get your 6th coffee free as well.Besides the coffee the rest of the shop is pretty standard selling cold drinks, chips, candy, and cigarettes as you would expect all reasonably priced. Also, Stop-N-Go still sells those pesky Four Loko's that are big right now and they sell em by the case, literally. I think they are at $23 dollars for a case of Four Loko. They still sell them at this time but not sure how long they'll be there. Just ask the clerk to grab ya a case.Overall, I'm not sure if all the bad rep is warranted. I am certain that their have been incidents in the past as all stores have had but for now I feel like I'd rather come in here than trying to maneuver around any other gas station around town. I'm not saying that it's a place worth driving out of the way for but if you driving by go ahead and, Stop-N-Go, into this small little convenience store.

Wow I wish I could give this place 5 stars. Great location, convenient, but they took my REAL ID claiming it was fake. Was out of state and visiting UC for my schools football game. They took my ID and claimed that they were calling the police but when I called the police, they said that they couldn't do anything and they would "look into it". Go to Bana market or the gas station on campus unless you want to be $150 out of pocket to pay for a NEW ID

Update to let everyone know this place has a CRAZY good local beer selection! Mad tree, rhinegeist, mt.carmel, Moerlein -- they've got it all. Also a ton of great craft seasonal beers including large format beers and my favorite, PumKING.

Stop-N-Go is one of the better convenience stores in the University area. It is always clean, has cheap beer, and even a Fifth Third ATM. Many people refer to it as the Stab-N-Grab or as the Stop-N-Rob. Since I have been attending UC (over three years) I have never heard of it being robbed, so I think this is just a term of endearment. Unfortunately the parking is very bad (small and has a bunch of puddles that will be filled with oily gooey liquid even on the hottest and driest of days). It is located very close to most off-campus housing and is many times better than Angels Carryout II. Prices are a little steep on many things, but beer is usually cheaper than other convenience stores in the area.

I have visited this location several times, usually for smokes or a lottery ticket. It's sometimes hard to find 24 hour stores like this. My only complaint is the lack of a decent non-alcoholic beverage selection. It's only the same crap you will see in any 24 hour store anywhere. With Clifton Natural Foods right next door, you would think they could carry something healthy(er) to drink. Last time I was there they were selling a Beer Pong set for 19 dollars.
