Yum! Definitely recommend checking it out if you are at the levee. I ordered the Bulgogi bowl, consisting of marinated beef, rice, kimchi, slaw, etc. The flavors were great and it was the perfect size for me. I wish this had a plant protein option, I think tofu would be absolutely delicious with the marinated sauce!!! The beef texture wasn't my favorite, too many fatty pieces for my liking. I'd also like to suggest adding maybe 30-50% more rice to account for the heaping amount of toppings.

Second place I've tried in the Galley and it too came up a bit short. Portion size is very small for the price tag, especially when it's essentially a take out place without full service.Staff were kind and answered my questions. But close to $25 for a small serving of rice, shrimp, and slaw, and a water bottle is hard to swallow. Shrimp was cooked perfectly but not crisp like I'd expected. I love the menu and options but the value is just not there!

A must try in the northern Kentucky area that will blow your mind away. Tucked inside the galley on the Levee in Newport, this is the place to be! As an Asian food enthusiast, this place knows flavors! The bang bang shrimp bowl was a hit ... OMG! Every bite of the shrimp was crunchy and packed with flavors. The combination of the fried crispy shrimp, street slaw, peanuts and scallions was an absolute explosion and so satisfying with every bite. If you love wings, you'll love the Korean fried wings tossed with your choice to sauces. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The ordering counter and dining area was so clean and tidy. I loved the self serve water station right next to the ordering counter for convenience. Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes.

The garlic noodle was good and taste even better the fried egg and chicken. The noodles are ramen, the sauce has sweet, tangy and bit little spicy to it. Not spicy at all. Good umami taste too. The chicken had a crispy crunch to it. Total spent was $18.50. Worth the cost!

There are not many things I will cross the river for but I have been wanting to check out Stick and Buns and I'm so glad I did! Everything we tried was a hit. The buns were made perfectly and there was a great mix of flavors. We hung out a while and had a drink from the Galley bar. There were a number of TVs and it would have been a great spot to watch a game if we had gone a little later and there was one on. I'm already thinking of who I can get to go back with me soon!

Overall underwhelming. I was quite shocked when I paid $17 and received a small takeout container half full. While the protein was close to an appropriate portion with 8 or so pieces of large shrimp, there was very little rice, sauce , or cabbage mixture. A 2oz sauce container came 1/4 full. And the dish without it was really lacking flavor. This is especially confusing to me since those are the less expensive items. $17 for 8 shrimp, 2oz of cabbage, and 1.5oz of rice just doesn't measure up for me. I won't be returning.

Food is authentic, fresh daily, and amazing. Had the chicken wings which were tender, juicy, and had a welcomed crunch.

The food was tasty so I will give them that, unfortunately the portions were small for the price. I paid 15 for two bao buns and I was shocked when they came out-- they were smaller than the palm of my hand. I feel that there are other restaurants in Cincinnati with larger bao buns that are tasty and not overpriced. You can see the meat portion on one was significantly smaller than the other as well. The house pickles were 7. Again, good flavor on everything but with a drink and a 3% credit card charge I spent over 27 dollars on what was essentially a snack.

Not worth the money and cook was not wearing gloves. Didn't receive a lot of food for what I paid. Also I watched the kitchen grab chicken with bare hands and touch serving dish.
