Steak ’n Shake

I hadn't been to a Steak n Shake in ages! Really wanted one of their milkshakes though so stopped by with some friends!The building is clean and had kiosks from which you order and sit until they call that your order is ready. There are only two kiosks (which was fine there were only a couple other people in the building) so you should probably have an idea of what you want when you come in - always tricky with their expansive list of milkshakes! The food was ready quickly and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time.I will say the fries were hot when I got them but cooled off quickly (might be nature if the thin fries) and the medium fries serving didn't look very different from the small fries. The milkshake was very satisfactory, grab a kids size if you don't think you can down the regular.

First time having Steak 'n Shake and it did not disappoint! So yummy! Simple but delicious. We ordered onion rings, fries, bacon cheeseburgers and a hot dog and of course two shakes!!! The shakes on top of everything else definitely makes you full! Loved the diner like experience.

Drive through red velvet Oreo shake was fantastic. Order through the drive through and the total was around $2.50 because it was happy hour. Unbeatable price. Love the new addition to the menu!

A+ for food and service...we stopped in today for lunch. I have not been to Steak and Shake since they changed the service model to self-service. I love their food but have been leary to return due to past experiences of slow service. I have to say they have completely stepped up their game. We walked in and ordered food from the Kiosk which was simple. Sat down and our food was ready in 5 minutes. The food was great. Hot and fresh. My husbands milkshake was just what you expect from Steak and Shake... amazing! This will be our new go to for burgers and fries!

Yeah it reopened. Ok so maybe not a yeah. They only do carry out so I will always check for napkins and NO NAPKINS!The fries were room temp like they had been sitting or made a head of time and the burger was not what I so remembered and was mouth watering ready for. It was just dry. Nothing exciting about it all I can say is dry. Would I be back, NO. There are way to many good burgers to choose from. The service may not have been really great before but if you are going to change order entry to avoid service issues you better have a great Steak and Shake Burger and what I had was not that. And did I mention no napkin at a drive through????I used my app and called the store and will say everyone I spoke to was pleasant and great. And when I got to the window I did not have to wait, so I have to wonder if the app was a good thing or if my food got made and Sat and got dried out and room temp.Good luck guys. Have missed you but not sure what would get me back for a second try to see if you have divided and conquered these new issues, product quality.

Been here 3 times already and they are refusing to make door dash orders What's the difference if it a customer going thru the drive thru vs me being the legs of the customer that already paid they the app ..

The longest waiting drive thru line I have ever been apart of. There is not a single fast food place that has punted as bad as Steak 'n Shake. I'm only giving it a 2 star because I will always love the food here. My guess is they don't actually have any food prepared, they get your order and then they start making it. Cars move forward about 1 in every 10 minutes.If there is 0 cars in line, give it a shot. If there is even 2, just go to Chic Fil A across the street.

My food was wet from condensation when I got it because they sealed the plastic bag. They always take too long. I should have just gotten the milkshakes, the only thing really worth buying from this place.

Restaurant was nearly empty but the staff was very friendly and attentive. The location was clean and the food was delicious and served very fast.
