Staunton Country Store

We wanted a really good pizza during our trip as where we live it's hard to find a really good one. So we hopped on Yelp to see what we could see. This one had a great rating and we can see how it got one. It's a little bit out of the way but it's in a beautiful setting along the Miami River corridor. And the pizza is great. It takes 3 things to make a good pizza. The balance of the crust, the dough, the sauce, and the cheese. Everything else just adds to these 3 elements. This place does this well. They were fast, clean, and friendly. The right amount of toppings so you could taste each item without drowning out the other flavors of the pie. Just fabulous! You can eat outside if you choose or take out. As good as it gets. Highly recommended!

I haven't had Staunton pizza for years. I picked up a lunch pepperoni pizza today. I forgot how awesome their pizza is. Crisp crust, strong flavorful (provolone?) cheese, good pepperoni, and a nice tomato sauce that doesn't overpower with its taste. VERY GOOD. Such a welcome change from chain store pizza. Strongly recommend. My brother recommends their footlong hot dogs too. Hmm! Will have to check out the entire menu. Two thumbs up!

Excellent surprise on my way home from basketball practice. It was a little bit interesting ordering the pizza and then waiting in the parking lot, but it was well worth the wait. I really enjoyed the pizza. Really good snap to the sauce. I definitely will be back. Wish they had an inside to eat out though.

Delicious pizzas!! Call ahead before you want to eat about an hour or so & they only make pizzas certain days otherwise would be 5 stars.

Tried Staunton County Store for a pizza and a pizza sub...both were phenomenally good!!! The new owners and the service was incredible and NO WAIT!! Will be ordering again soon!!!

It was okay, but I got duped on the app & before I knew it I had placed a delivery pizza which froze the price . Next time I will be sure I do pick up

Place your order in advance, it does take awhile to get your pizza but it IS the best pizza in town

First time ever in Troy, Ohio, to visit good friends and stumbled upon this amazing pizza place. The pizza pies were delicious and the pickup time was exact. The country store was charming and service was friendly. We'll be back!

Best pizza in Miami Valley. I passed by this little carry out the other day and stopped in for a pop on my way back through. I had just finished dinner about an hour earlier but the smell of pizza was taunting me. So when it was my turn at the counter, I decided to cut a 16" pepperoni. They have a good assortment of snacks and drinks as well as homemade sandwiches. This was my first time there but definitely not my last. I waited in my vehicle about 20 minutes and they walked the pizza out to me. There are a couple of tables out front and three parking spots in front and three more in back. The building was very clean and well kept, both inside and out. Back to the pizza. It is a thin crust that is nice and crispy with slight hint of butter. The sauce and cheese were in perfect proportion and the pepperoni was thin cut and curled up on edges just enough to hold a little grease. This pizza was amazing! I tried to eat just a few of the square cut pieces but almost 2/3 were gone before I got home. This pizza is well worth a 45 minute drive to get another one. You won't find a better pizza within an hours drive.
