Don't believe BS story about not having inventory state website says they have due to "broken bottles". Shady.

Just found this place a couple of days ago. I was looking for a great bourbon. The owner and manager are great guys! I will definitely be back!

Excellent selection of liquor and wines. They have been building up their bourbon inventory alongside their other selections. Definitely stop by and check out this great family run small business.

This place is a bit creepy. There is a bouncer checking everyones ID as you enter the store, and he's far from a friendly face. I guess that's the point? I have to constantly fight with people in line because they are alway trying to cut. I usually have to deal with a heckler trying to get money from me as well. The employees that work there are usually not the most pleasant to deal with either. The worst part is they close at 10:00. I think this is too early, but not really sure if it's standard or not to close that early. For some reason I can never remember this, and always walk over there when it's close. On a positive note, they have every liquor under the sun here. The beer selection is decent with a few crafts. They have a decent selection of wine as well.

Staggerlee's takes cards now! God in heaven that was annoying when it was cash only. Anyway, great liquor selection, closes too early though. Also the parking lot has like 8 spaces and winos are usually begging outside, other than that no worries.

If you are comfortable being in a somewhat shaky neighborhood, then you'll have no problem coming here. I personally don't think it's that bad, but I have heard stories, so I may not know the whole story. But there is a great selection of alcohol, it's a lot closer to me, and the service is really kind. This is a good place to run if you know what you want and don't want to run to Party Source across the river.

Kudos to the new guy! Didn't take any crap from the nasty guy across the counter bitching about having to pay with a hundred; how they got his order wrong, etc. It takes some gumption to work at that place.

I think these guys are trying the best they can- though they don't update their supply based on what the ohlq website shows (it may say they have x Bourbon and when you show up, they don't actually have it).

On two different occasions, Staggerlee's Carryout I was denied being able to purchase Weller Antique despite it showing and current inventory on OHLQ website. The reason for Staggerlees for the second time going in a few weeks was "broken bottles." Later that day, Staggerlees finally showed Out of Stock. This has been occurring way too often on days that they are suppose to have allocated bottles and many people wait in line for these and are turned away with nothing. We were at Staggerlees this morning at store open which was 10am.

parking can be a little tough, but they had Barr Hill gin...probably the only place in this part of Ohio with that gin. They had to dig it out of a box somewhere in the back (I think they sell it mostly to restaurants), but they gladly got it out for me. I agree that the neighborhood looks dicey, but I didn't see anything about the store that made me nervous. I appreciated the service. I tried calling once to see if I could do a curbside pick-up and that was a waste of time--phone rang about 50 times and no answer....
