12$ for lettuce shoved in a box? 4$ a topping? A 25$ base for just a cheese pizza? I'm done with this place.

Ok so it all started when I read a review that said this was the best pizza in Cincinnati... We were in town for a graduation and so many restaurants were booked (also my fault I didn't start looking until 2 weeks out). We were looking for a takeout option to pair with our wine and eat with family in our Airbnb. St. Francis Apizza was perfect for this! The pizza was fresh with a thin but chewy and flavorful crust, great quality (& quantity of) ingredients, and a variety that is just enough outside the comfort zone to be drool worthy. We also got a few salads and a variety of dipping sauces, all which were seemingly made in house and super delicious! Even my 85 year old grandpa who is a bit of a skeptic and curmudgeon, said this pizza was "wonderful". Also- They make a beer with their own basil and it paired wonderfully with the pizza, a must try!

This is the best pizza in Cincinnati. My wife and I visited St. Francis last night for our first time and for my birthday. I'm a pizza fanatic and have eaten at many of the acclaimed pizza restaurants nationwide (e.g., NYC, New Haven, Chicago, LA, etc.). I also recently started to dabble in making my own pizza sauce and crust at home.At St. Francis, we ordered one half & half pizza. One half was the Erie Ave (staff favorite) and the other half was pepperoni, sausage, & banana peppers (our typical pizza order).I would describe their style of crust as a New Haven / NYC / Midwest hybrid. Meaning, the crust is crispy but not crackery and it has a great chewy texture but is not floppy (like many NYC pizzas). I think their website describes it well, "... influenced by our favorite pizza experiences in New York, New Haven, CT, and Portland, OR."The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and delivered on making a great pizza. They also gave me a free order of their frozen pizza dough - after they heard it was my birthday and that I've been trying to make my own crust at home. Also, their reheating instructions (on their website) for the pizza were spot on. And the pizza was just as good the next day. My only critique is that I do think the "Apizza" in their name is a bit confusing since that's typically reserved for a strictly "New Haven" style of pizza (a thin-crust, coal-fired pizza that originated in New Haven, CT). But I know I'm being nitpicky with this point.

Ordered: Erie AveWe were at a nearby restaurant for lunch and I saw so many high rated reviews of the best pizza in Cincinnati that we had to stop by to get a second lunch. The reviews were not wrong- it is currently the best pizza that I've had in Cincinnati! On Saturday, they have a 10 inch special for half the price. The pizza was still warm when we got home and every bite was perfect! The crispy crust, quality pepperoni, hot honey and the sauce was everything! I appreciated the fresh basil on the side. I wished they had an indoor seating area so we didn't have to wait to get home to eat it.

The best pizza in Cincinnati! I checked out Saint Francis with low expectations and was blown away. The quality of the pie is something you would expect out of New York, not Cincinnati. Had a great undercarriage, quality toppings, and a great char. The service was friendly, and even though we got ours to go, it was amazing even after a car ride. Though, there are a few spots to eat outside if you want to eat there. Highly highly recommend. Get the spicy ranch!

**9.2/10 - READ THIS!**This pizza could change your view on Cincinnati pizza--maybe even your life.In my 25 years, this is one of the best pies I've ever had. Was it because I was super hungry and didn't expect it to be so amazing? Maybe.Try it yourself, especially if you like a thin, crispy crust with great undercarriage, minimal flop, phenomenal crust, piping hot cheese, and delicious sauce. They offer half-and-half toppings, are carry-out only, and have a red pepper ranch.Pro tip: eat it in the car to experience it at its fullest.Seriously, go here. I initially rated this pizza 8.8/10, but I'm back to say it's a 9.2/10. It's that good!

This is the best pizzaria in Cincinnati. It beats out taglio, deweys, goodfellas, la rosas etc. they are known for their margarita pizza get it. The dough is thin and airy, the sauce is semi sweet and aromatic. The ingredients are quality. Saturday they have a 10' pizza for half off menu. Pizza took 15 minutes to come out after ordering in store. The cashier was nice and helpful. I didn't take a picture because I ate the pizza so quick but I this is my #1 pizza spot now.

We ordered a build your own pizza from St. Francis on Saturday night. It was a little pricy, but we had been wanting to give it a try. They do not have any dine-in options - this pizza is solely for pickup. I'm glad we ordered early around 5:30, because the pickup time is as 6:30.When we got there to pick up the pizza, we heard the guy behind the counter say they were booked up for the night and that if someone were or order now, they wouldn't be able to pick up until 9. A very popular place, so order early! Service was very nice and fast. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and worth the price. Toppings were excellent - I love tiny pepperoni. The crust is very thin and wood-fired, which is my favorite. We split the pizza between the two of us, so I'd recommend ordering more if feeding 3. Check it out!
