What's not to love about this place? We were in town on a road trip so obviously wanted to check out some breweries. Sonder was highly recommended and since it just so happened to be not long after their yearly Family Tradition release we were in luck.First the space is great. The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful. There is a friendly vibe. There is plenty of room to sit or mill around or stand, whatever you prefer. It is obviously too cold this time of year for the beer garden but I'm sure that is great in the warmer months. The taplist is pretty extensive with a good variety. Family Tradition is a barrel aged stout done in different variants and that was pretty much what drew me in. They offer flights or you can just purchase small pours, which is always nice especially with the high ABV beers. Every one of the beers we tried was delicious and one that I would order again. The Family Tradition is a great beer series. My favorite on draft was the cigar blend. We picked up a few bottles to bring home as well.As we were sipping our beers my fiancé decided he wanted something to eat. It was getting late but I was surprised to see online that the kitchen should still be open. He went and asked the bartender if we could order something and she said sure and that it wasn't too late. He just ordered some fries with beer cheese. The fries were hot and crispy and a nice portion. The cheese was tasty. Perfect late night snack for some brewery hopping.I definitely recommend checking out Sonder Brewing, even if it's a bit out of your way. Great beers and just an enjoyable night.

My overpriced food haikuLettuce wilts in shame,Caesar weeps from the heavens, wallet feels the burn.Nice staff and good atmosphere, but $16.50 for a small salad with a handful of chicken pieces was unremarkable.

I wasn't very impressed with this brewery. I felt like the beers were just average. It was also a saturday night with college football on but they had very limited tvs. we did not try any food options tho

Another favorite location as their beer selection and innovative beers are excellent. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating to have many of their beers. This is one of the of the local Cincinnati breweries that is worth the visit for sure.

FOOD REVIEW: I hate to give a 1 star review because I've enjoyed Sonder for many years but the new kitchen experience is abysmal. Until April 2024, they leased the kitchen to "Brew River" but now Sonder is managing the kitchen themselves and it's a major disappointment. Let's get into it:The chicken Caesar salad was $16 yet wouldn't even fill a toddler's belly. The chicken had the precooked taste and feel you'd get at an airport. Price to portion insulting. The shrimp tacos were smaller than the palm of my hand. You get 3 yet it still seemed light. Taste was ok but uninventive. It's basically grilled shrimp with a few garnishes and a mayo base sauce. Guacamole dip and chips claims to be "homemade". If you've ever purchase premade guac from Kroger, this is it. More of a purée or spread than a dip. No avocado chunks or signs of this being homemade. Terrible.Poke had 5-6 pieces of fish. So bland and sad. Still hungry. To top it off, they were out of so many ingredients like French fries, cauliflower, etc. For the kids meal their replacement side was flaming hot Cheetos... I understand they haven't quite figured out their inventory levels but wow. Food took 30 minutes to prepare. Tablet asks for 25% tip for a self serve and bust experience. Beer and atmosphere are excellent. So sad because my family comes here regularly. It seems like they know families love visiting due to the open outdoor space and expect a captive food audience so they've put together some very small and thoughtless dishes at outrageous prices for profit. It'll be hard to return given the food situation. Hope things improve and if they do I'll update my review.

I like this taproom quite a bit more than their other one. Low key, great kitchen, kind staff. The beer is very good.

My exclusive stop when traveling in or around Mason. This is your one stop shop for beer, food, and all the vibes. Bring the kids, bring your dogs, this place is it. Zach at the bar will take care of you and chat it up about whatever you've got. Want to watch a game? They'll put it on for you. Chef Ian's menu is off the charts. He is a load of fun and is incapable of making a bad dish. Need anything at all while you're there? They will 100 percent make it happen and take care of you better than anywhere else. If you haven't checked out Sonder, you need to, today!

Missing at least 4-5 beers that would usually be on tap. Tried the cauliflower wings from the kitchen and were just ok. The cauliflower florets were all different sizes and everything cooked at a different level.
