Sky Haven Farm

I travel for a living. I have never tasted ham that is better than this.I'm pretty sure that I have never tasted ham that is even equal to this.It is the best. I hope you stay open another 50 years...

Sky Haven Farm is an old fashion smoke house that specializes in hams. The ham is cooked in the smoking process so it is ready to eat upon carving. You can go with a ham with a bone or boneless. Size will vary and expect to pay better than $4.00 a pound. Order ahead around holidays. It is the bomb diggity of hams. Most IGA's and some deli's carry the ham if you want to sample some before buying a whole ham. A Sky Haven Ham has been a tradition with my family at most of the holidays for over 45 years and here's hoping Ed and Jack are there for another 45.

The 3 reviews here were written when their Sky Haven ham WAS the best. Unfortunately, in the last 3 or 4 months, things have really changed.They hooked up with someone from Hiltop, and boy, have they gone down hill. The ham is now NOTHING like it used to be, and one of the owners was less than forthcoming about the change when I spoke to him. Sahlen's is now far superior, and I guess the folks at Sky Haven will get the message when they start feeling the loss of customers.

We ordered a Sky Haven Farm ham through church at Christmas and it was by far the best ham I have ever eaten. It wasn't at all salty and the flavor was amazing! I don't typically like ham but everyone in our family loved it and we were looking for more when we finished it two days later. Stand back Honey Baked ham, this ham is the real deal and delicious!
