Sky Asian Cuisine

They hired a new sushi chef from Long Island and got new fresh fancy types of sushi in. I have never had such great sushi in all of the Dayton. If you liked this place before you will love it. It was like eating sushi in NY city!

This was the first restaurant I went to when I was apartment hunting for clinicals years ago and I still come whenever I visit. First of all, they have a huge parking lot so you will have no problem finding somewhere to park. The place has changed slightly over the years, but it's still good. The value of the food is decent because the portions are very generous. I always have takeout that lasts at least one more meal. The music is always loud, but it's fun to come with groups. The service is decent. But keep in mind, they can get busy so you'll need to be patient with your server. The sushi I always get is the North Castle. The tuna is yummy and has a lil crunch from the tempura. The tuna and avocado is fresh. The chicken tempura never disappoints. It's crunchy and delicious. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the vegetable tempura. It did not have the same crunch of tempura. First time I have seen the lo mein at this visit and we were surprised on how much was given! Not a bad thing at all. It smelled delicious. It had great amount of veggies and the chicken in jt was great. If you're in the area and like Asian food, want to get your sushi fix or are looking for somewhere to meet up with a group of friends or coworkers, please check it out!

Hands down the best sushi in Dayton and freshest fish. If you haven't tried their Thursday Omakase it is incredible. Everything from the selection of fish to the actual plates were so thoughtfully planned. The owners and staff are incredible.

The restaurant had plant light fixtures, we opted for a booth seat. The food was better than I expected. I loved the presentation. The plate was $17 for a lunch special. The waitress was okay.

It had been some time since I visited. We arrived early, right as it opened for dinner. A large Kettering roll was ordered. I got a Happy Buddha beer. It was a hoppy lager. We got orders of Low Mein and a Pad Thai. Later, dessert as well. That was fried banana and the cheesecake. The staff are cordial and polite. The food is subtle and fresh. The decor is chic and inviting. It would be a 5 rating if we had been checked on and hadn't had to wait for water refills for most of the time there.

Let me start with our server, she is a diamond. Super nice and attentive. The quality of food was really good. The appetizer portions are on the very small side. The sushi was excellent. The hibachi dish was ok. Their sushi would be the main reason I would definitely come back for.

Sky Asian Cuisine is an amazing Asian restaurant that I've driven past countless times. I received a menu in the mail and decided to try it. I ordered the blackened steak with asparagus, brown rice, and salad for takeout. Ordering on the website was very easy, and my order was ready when I arrived. The interior is beautiful with a full bar and sushi bar as well. My meal was outstanding, and there was so much that I saved the rest for dinner. This is a must try for anyone in the Dayton area!

Love the atmosphere, the inside is just really nice and modern. The lighting and ambiance is perfect for date night! The food is good but the portions are small and the price is big. The service was fairly slow even though the place was empty. There are better options.

Sky AsianUdonWe enjoy Sky Asian, perhaps 100+ visits in past few years.Today it is a Big Bowl of Udon noodles that we seek. Large bowl with hearty broth, fresh veggies, and shrimp. The Difference Between Soba & Udon Flour - Udon uses wheat flour for that dense and dreamy thick finish and chewy texture whereas Soba celebrates buckwheat flour with its slightly grainier texture. Color - Udon rocks that glossy white coloring whereas Soba is darker (often a brown color or grey).Sky Asian has an excellent menu tending to Japanese.This PM as we enter, there is a small older man in a blue dress shirt who is unmindful of business clients - he is very mindful of whatever is on his cell screen. Like a teenager he is totally engrossed. I announce my presence to "pick up." He scurries around check out and makes a U turn into the kitchen. My take away order is clearly on display, but he takes no note. I retrieve the order hoping the blue shirted man will return soon.I have to remark to him, "IF you would give your clients attention, you would not be scurrying about like a mouse."At any rate, excellent restaurant, and we are grateful that a five - ten minute drive takes us to this treat.

I wish I could rate them higher because the food is excellent but service was horrible. I went with my wife, mother-in-law and our 2 young kids. We all ordered different things and it was all fantastic. Definitely some of the best sushi in Dayton. However, it took over 2 hours to get our food. The restaurant wasn't even near capacity and there was plenty of staff. Our waitress even brought our check and then was surprised that we hadn't gotten our food even though she never brought it to us. Ambience was ok, it was very loud and hard to hear someone sitting right next to you. We may try one more time to see if this was just a fluke since the food was good
