I recently moved here from the Seattle area and found this bread just yesterday at Country Fresh Market. I chose the French and I think it might be the best I've ever had. I bake a LOT of bread, and it's good, but doesn't hold a candle to this. Can't wait to try the others.

Love their breads and now you can get them at Kroger (at least Newport Marketplace). The round foccacia makes an amazing mufelletta!!

Dear Carbs, I love you. I have been on a sandwich kick lately. I'm one of those people who grew up hating cold cut sandwiches because I never put any effort into them. Recently though, I had a great sandwich that I successfully recreated at home using rye bread from sixteen bricks. I purchased my sixteen Bricks Bread from Chops, Chives and Cheese in Covington. Here's the problem - I got the bread, made this amazing sandwich THEN.... I proceeded to snack on this bread, dabbling with toasting it and just adding a little butter....ugh.... it's unfair how delicious carbs are. While I try not to ham out all the time on carbs, a loaf from Sixteen Bricks is SUCH a treat. If you're looking to make a dope sandwich or just to grab some great artisan bread and add a little butter, Sixteen Bricks should definitely be on your list!

This bread is amazing. I am making a sourdough bite for the thanksgiving holidays and they had the most beautiful sourdough bread. The staff is so accommodating and so nice. Will definitely be getting more bread from them!

The salted marble rye bread from Sixteen Bricks is probably the best bread I have ever tasted. This is the bread that would bring Atkins to his knees. It's like the Green Eggs and Ham of the bread world: You might think, why marble rye instead of brown rye? Why then add *salt* to the fancy marbled rye? What's wrong with plain ol' regular rye? That's not the question. The only answer is, everything is absolutely right about this bread. Plain? It's got a hearty bite and awesome rye flavor with pockets of delicious salt. Toasted with butter, it has the perfect crunch and still retains satisfying airy pockets. It can probably support any sandwich you want to make with it, but I haven't yet gotten beyond eating it plain or just toasted with butter (outside of the breakfast sandwiches at Cheapside, anyway).

I have no idea how the actual store is, never been there. But I've bought their bread at the Country Fresh Market, and Farmer's Markets, while also having it at some of the best restaurants in the city. Every piece has been delicious, with each variety of bread being unique, wonderful examples of the style. Ciabatta, olive bread, sourdough, etc., all perfectly nuanced and consistently delicious. Well worth grabbing if you can get to it!

Stop to see if they had any salted rye and they said we don't sell retail but we just happen to have a extra 2 loafs, if u would like them, I grabbed them and ran out the door. Sorry I didn't do that but the gentleman gave them to me at no cost. Wow, this guy couldn't have been nicer. Thank you. Happy new year

Good bread but not phenomenal. Top Artisanal baking competition in Cincinnati doesn't exist so 16 bricks has no impetus to improve. I suggest they travel to Walmit Creek CA to taste Rise breads or 46 Patisserie in Minneapolis, MN
