This is a nice public park that is not too far from the Cincy Nature Center. It is clean and very well maintained. It features a large play ground, 2 picnic shelters, full bathrooms, a paved trail, and hiking trails. We went to check it out because of the hiking trails they offer. The right side of the park has a large restored wetland area thanks to the Clermont County Soil and Water District. The trails throughout this section feature very nice educational signs. It would be a great little way to get your virtual learners outside for alternative learning! The trails are flat and easy to navigate. The second area goes back through the wildlife preserve. These trails are a little more uneven, but I would still consider them beginner. The final trail is just a paved loop around the main park, nice for rollerblading. We enjoyed this park and found it a great option nearby to get a quick mile or two in after work! Just a side warning, if you are out on the trails make sure to wear long pants or bug spray. If you bring your dogs make sure that they receive monthly tick treatment, as I did find several on my dogs face. Nothing out of the ordinary as that is to be expected in any wooded areas of Ohio.
