Traveling up I-65 and stopped at Scottsburg for a quick bite. We didn't want to hit the fast food chains at the exit, so we headed to the town square.Ship's is new this year, as we discovered through their entry rug - "Established 2022"They have a menu that includes pizza, sandwiches, fried goodies, and burgers. We opted to share the Shipley burger - a 1/2 pound burger - and fried mushrooms, and then added side salads. Burger was seasoned nicely. It wasn't really "smashed" as the menu described, but it was good. Mushrooms didn't taste like something made in house, but were fine. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

If you want a breaded pork tenderloin in Indiana, don't order it here, it is an overpriced "Pete's Pride" small disc that is not what Indiana is famous for, get the grilled option if anything. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience as it's an old building, with the brick and historical pictures, the service for the most part has been pretty decent but it's not a "made from scratch" type of place, food is ok, beers cheap and it has a nice atmosphere

We decided to go there on a Friday afternoon after work walked in the door sat down and sat there for 25 minutes, and that not one single person ever walked up to us and asked for our order. Actually, nobody came up to us at all never saw a waitress only people in the bar and one other couple is in the restaurant side so after 25 minutes we walked out disappointing. Very disappointing.
