Shift restaurant and bar

I was so surprised by the food quality at this wonderful establishment! They aim to please. The appetizers and entrees were so delicious. I highly recommend the tacos and potato skins. The drinks were good too. Finally a nice place to dine in Bright!

The restaurant was really cute and nice and clean. The food was really good and the service was good and fast. They have fun burger challenge.

So I have this thing for fried green tomatoes. My all time favorites used to be Libby's Southern Cooking in Covington Ky. But what if you decided to go Italian instead of Southern? Try the fried green potatoes at Shift for a new perspective.

Had never been here before, as it is a 45 minute drive from home, and it seemed like an unlikely place to offer a Thanksgiving buffet,but we had heard some great things about it, so we decided to eat out on Thanksgiving for a change. We were really impressed with the quality of the buffet and its value. They had fried chicken, turkey, roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, corn pudding, mac and cheese, asparagus, fried apples, stuffing, cranberry sauce, fresh fruit and rolls.I piled my plate high with most of these things, but ate every bite. I loved everything I tried. Dessert, either pumpkin or pecan pie, was included. Service was friendly and attentive. We intend to return next year, and maybe before to check out their regular fare.

The food is awesome!! We highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, pretzel and beer cheese, the Cobb salad, and the bacon jam burger!!

Great place to eat and socialize. Shift has great food, great drinks , and of course great service! This place can't be beat!

Service is great and the food was even better. The prices were very reasonable! Great atmosphere too, it has a very warm and cozy feel to it. Without a doubt we'll be back!

The food isn't great. And it's way too expensive for what you get. Customer service could use some work. Gorgeous inside. But usually a little dirty. You can get better food down the road for less money. I do not recommend. Two stars because it's pretty inside.

Shift Restaurant, food and service is extraordinary. Can't wait for the opening at Hillcrest Country Club.Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

First, the 3 stars is only because the server was amazing and accomodating. Beyond the service, absolutely disappointed given the hype about a second location opening at Hillcrest in Batesville. Next, we had a reservation for 5:30 the plan was to check out the food to see if we wanted to consider them for a wedding and rehersal dinner in Batesville. The parking lot was packed, so initially we thought, oh this place must be amazing. We could barely get in the door and had to wait to be seated for about 10 minutes - when we were seated we were put next to a group of 30 surrounded by another group of 15. The noise level was OFF THE CHARTS - tip if you are going to cater to large groups, close your restaurant to people that want to go an enjoy a meal out or at least pick a section of your facility for large groups and one section for normal dining. We could barely hear the server.The food was "meh" the potato skins didn't have enough BBQ sauce, most of it was on the plate so it looked pretty. The fried pickles were super salty although the were not greasy. Two of our party of four had a burger which both agreed had very little flavor. The bride had the special, the filet - super tender BUT again, flavorless. I had the Street Tacos ( steak) they were ok but again missing sauce. Was the food "meh" because of the 3 large groups - not sure. Presentation gets an A, flavor and quality get a C. Ambiance gets an epic fail, Server gets an A++. Our server was top notch which is whyShift didn't get one star. She was attentive, professional, and spot on. Overall, I would not give this place a second chance( although my hubby things we should) and will certainly not be using them for anything. It's clear to me that Shift is more concerned about volume than quality. Wish it wasn't so....was really looking forward to them coming to Batesville. At this point I think they will become of the next restaurant statistic in Bateville unless all they do is cater to the club golf crowd and large groups then they will have a chance.
