One of the most beautiful courses in Cincy (not top 3 but top 10 for sure). It's not an easy course and can be pricey but overall it's maintained very well. Lots of trees so if you can't hit accurately like me bring a lot of golf balls. Biggest complaint I had was the concessions were closed at 1pm on a Sunday. Not sure if they ran out of hotdogs or what but that was pretty disappointing and frustrating that we couldn't get food in between 9-10.

Enjoyable golf course. Many different types of holes with nice scenery. Lots of elevation changes and elevated greens. No driving ranges but 2 putting greens by each 9. i like that they use flag colors for front middle and back pin positions. They have a small pro shop and restaurant. Have not eaten there. This is a hamilton county course. You need an annual car permit that is 10 to 16 dollars based on your county residency. Sand traps are decently maintained. You can walk but it is a challenge. Back 9 is harder for walking.

Great course. Some of the more difficult par 4s in the city. Also, was the only (public) course I played all year where we got actual assistance and great conversation from course ranger/staff. Top notch.

I would give this place less than 3 stars but I can't complain too much about the course itself. My main issue with this place is that the clubhouse overbooks their tee times to make as much money as possible while screwing over their guests. Just played this week and had to literally wait 15 minutes between each hole to tee off. 9 holes on a cart took almost 3 hours!!!!! When we were finished, I was told by another golfer that we were lucky. He had to wait almost 30 minutes between holes the week earlier. Seems to me this place is more concerned about making money rather than keeping its customers.I will not be playing here again until they stop double booking.

My friends and I have been checking out area courses for our weekly nine hole game. I played here years ago and now I'm glad we visited. The course was busy but not crowded. There's nothing worse than feeling rushed when you're trying to enjoy a beautiful day playing with friends. All the staff I encountered were great, friendly and fun. We forgot to grab scorecards so I called the main number and a lovely gentleman drove them right to us! The setting is beautiful. Opened in 1938 by none other than Bobby Jones himself, the old course is mature and perfect for nature lovers like me. We encountered a small flock of wild turkeys along with a gorgeous red-tailed hawk who was busy scouting its lunch. The course is hilly but no water on the front nine and little sand. Just the way we like it! Like all Hamilton County Park courses, very affordable compared to other courses and well maintained. We will definitely return!

Good golf. The bald guy at the front desk gave me some attitude for me asking a question about rain checks. Golf course is good but the guy behind the counter wasn't.

A group of us played this past week. A few of the guys decided to bring a few drinks on the course. The local professional who works at the course witnessed us bring a cooler into the cart and followed us around the practice facility. I had a conversation with him about the weather as it looked like it was going to rain. He waited until we got to the second hole and he came riding out with a park ranger who proceeded to write us a ticket for bringing alcohol onto the course. He could have just warned us about it and we would have put the cooler back into a car and purchased in the clubhouse. This is a horrible way to treat people and we will never go back. Another employee on the course apologized for how we were treated.

Let me start by saying this is a beautiful course and a good mix of challenging but not over the top difficult, especially at this price point. We showed up and we were 2 minutes late for our tee time and severely admonished for it. It kind of soured the mood from the beginning... I assume everyone is going to the golf course to have fun and to be welcomed in this fashion , it's just unexplainable...To be fair everyone was cool and friendly except for one rather rude young man....But one hostile employee is all it takes to tarnish the mood and vibe of your outing.....everything else was pretty good though and it certainly is a scenic and very enjoyable course... If you can steer clear of certain people you'll have a great time here!

Thoroughly enjoyed this extremely fun, eye-pleasing, cost friendly course where legendary Bobby Jones hit the first shot in 1938.I would definitely want to play it again when in the area.
