Shango’s Urban Taqueria

Absolutely incredible food that is only surpassed by their absolutely incredible service!!!They were apparently testing a QR code for a few hours the other day at their location in Factory 52... I had saved it and tried to order delivery from it tonight.What I didn't know is that they had stopped using the platform that the QR code linked to after the first 5hrs of it being operational because it had payment processing.They drove my order out to me even though they had cancelled the service I had tried to order through and let me pay via Apple Cash!Absolutely incredible, good people with incredible service and fantastic food to match!

Was fucking amazing! Wow these nachos were delicious! We had the chicken jerk nachos and they were worth every penny. So good! Just full of flavor, hit all the right spots, and ate the entire thing. This place is located in factory 52 food Hall whatever the official name of it is. Parking can be a bit hard but when you get in, they are a bit immediately to the right before you to send the stairs that go to the bar. You order on one of the screens and just wait for a text that your order is ready if you're not willing to hang out. Ambience in the whole place is pretty food hall like! Definitely want to go back to this exact stall and try more of their delicious urban food!

Okay! So let me tell yall about this amazing small business! They serve up delectable Mexican but with a twist! They are located inside of Factory 52 in Norwood. On my very first visit, I was a little sad they were out of the oxtail nachos. But I opted for the shrimp and crawfish nachos. They did not disappoint! The nachos were loaded with yummy cheesy goodness and the shrimp and crawfish were plentiful! Be sure to bring a friend to share with as this is more than one person can handle! The customer service was great, even though they were out of my first choice, they were quick to make another recommendation that peaked my interest! I love that you can order on the tablet, it's quick and easy.

We came to Factory 52 to try a bunch of dishes and the Grandma Sally fried chicken taco was one of the best bites of the night. It was fresh and packed with flavor. My kids also loved the munch punch - such a fun drink!

I was honestly blown away by the oxtail nachos. The cheese, the chips, the meat..all delicious! Can't wait to try more. Jerk chicken taco was just above average. I don't like corn tortillas.

Yum! My husband and I were in town for a little anniversary trip when we tried this place. The tacos were so yummy! It's nice that we could take them and go grab a beer in the general area. It's located in cool spot. They were pretty busy but the service was still top notch - friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back!

I'm slowly making my way through the menu. With that, I've enjoyed the couple items I've ordered, leaving me to stick to what I know. Hardworking staff; love that! Probably also the best food offering at The Gatherall.

Attended a lovely Yelp event that featured this amazing restaurant along with specialty cocktails from Potion. I love Shango's tag-line, "Where History, Flavor, and Culture Collide." The flavors are uniquely blended and the menu item names are tied to the owner's own family and to historical people/places. We were treated to three amazing dips/sauces with a generous portion of tortilla chips. While I liked all 3, the elite corn was the best. Was not a fan of the chips as they are thick and remind me of the ones that another local cantina has. Second course was a very unique quesadilla that was filled with lots of beef and veggies and had a hint of Cincinnati chili spice to it. it came with more chips.The owner shared his personal story of how he came to be in the restaurant business, his passion for history, and the unique naming of his menu items.His 13-year-old son was there to serve the line of Yelpers, and he was incredibly gracious and beaming with pride for the restaurant. The full menu has lots of shareables and some unique fusion entrees. I intend to try the crawfish and shrimp nachos. Happy to support local small businesses!

I love the taco box. It is a great lunch. I have been a few times. They were out of el pastor at the time I went and the owner was more than happy to substitute out a taco. I was able to try the shrimp taco (Buddy B taco). So buttery and yummy- perfect for a winters day. Love that it came with a little chips and salsa. Had the Munch! Punch- I haven't had lemonade fruit drinks for a while- yummy. Picked me up for my work day. Very yummy and I'll be back!

Loved the tacos! Came for lunch and order a few different ones to try out. Didn't find their posted menu helpful but once I got to the kiosk to order there were pictures and descriptions. Took a guess at the sauces and what each option was and turned out fine. Tacos had a twist in flavor which was a pleasant surprise. Loved the crab cake taco special. They're a little pricey but it's inside enough to warrant the splurge! Cant wait to try the nachos next. Service was quick, food came out promptly and the people behind the counter were friendly and awesome!
