Shake Shack Liberty Center

First time at a shake shack. Really good burgers but even their double is small. Cooked well though, pink in the middle like I prefer them. Fries were $4. That's expensive imo. $3 for a soda as well. So the upshot is it's expensive and the portions are small but the food and service was good. Not sure I'll come back. The halal burger place on Yankee road in liberty is 1000 times better. Go there instead.

I went to the original Shake Shack (when there was only one) in NYC right when the buzz hit super strong. It was just two windows in the side of a concession stand in Madison Square Park, right across from the famous Flatiron Building. One window was for food, the other was for beers. The food line was easily hundreds of people long, and snaked across the entire park. All the cool kids were in attendance. We only had an hour or so to kill, and we didn't want to spend it standing in line, so we walked right up to the beer window, got some beers, sat at a table and watched people stand. Over the years, I've always coveted Shake Shack, and had vague opportunities to go to one in Ft. Lauderdale airport, for example, or others on in opportune occasions, but never made it back to try their food. SS blew up, so it's got to be as good as everyone says, right?...I had an appointment near this SS location, so I decided to finally, Finally try their food. Ordered a double Shackburger, fries, and a cookies and crème shake. Damn glad I ordered a double, as their patties are quite small. There are no size options for the fries or shake, so I got what they gave me. Crinkle fries were about the size of a small, maybe a medium portion, and that was it. Boring, plain, not bad, but not interesting in any way crinkle fries. Not even salt. The shake was maybe 12oz (only one size available). It was thick and good, but not great. Burger had lots of crunchy bits (smash burger, so maybe it's supposed to be so crunchy). It was supposed to have Smash Sauce on it, and I think I saw one drip peeking out but couldn't taste it.Disappointed is probably an understatement. I've literally been waiting for years to try this place, and it was at best "meh." Not their fault but there were at least 3 tables with multiple kids each that were rambunctious, free-range, and loud. And at least one mom unapologetically grabbing children, holding them up to smell their butts while standing in the middle of the restaurant. Eww.So I probably built this place up in my mind, but $20 for a meal that didn't really fill me up was a let-down. Food was fine. Food was small. Nothing I'd need to drive out of my way for. I should have read some (the majority) reviews before I made a special trip here.

This is a new location, pristine ambience, everything is clean, simply decorated, very nice feeling. Staff mostly ignored until I realized there were some self-ordering stations. I had two separate orders. The young lady who served both meals to go was very kind, she smiled and the service was relatively fast. The reason I am giving them two stars is because I ordered a mushroom burger that is supposed to be vegetarian, only to find a beef patty in my burger after I was already on my way home. No time to come back. I hope the staff gets better at paying attention to the orders.

Terrible, Burger cooked to a crisp over Kīlauea and the arrived via the North Pole ice cold. Onion was half inch thick, must have been sliced by the Seeing Eye, and came from the SanAndreas fault plate. Bacon made a nice addition as a dividing board in my pool! Fries, dry and donated to the local school for chalk, the rest in the garbage. Shake was the best part and was helpful spackling my Sheetrock! Ya need to do better! Have you no pride?

The Shake Shack is a good place for hamburgers in the "smash burger" spectrum - the ordering was a little clunky for this tech challenged guy - but, I made it through! It was nice they accepted Apple Pay - the employees brought our orders quickly and made sure we had enough condiments and napkins - the burger was tasty and the lemonade was very good The atmosphere was laid back and surprisingly quiet for a Friday night - I like the burger and fries - it's nice for a quick bite on your way to shop in the store's surrounding the Liberty Center -

This is such a disappointment. We ordered 2 burgers. Grilled cheese, fries, nuggets and parm fries. Every item is barely edible. Everything is small, the grilled cheese was the circumference of a small water glass. The parm fries are fries sprinkled with basic parm cheese. Nuggets and grilled cheese were burnt to a crisp while the burgers were raw ( threw away). The nuggets were all breading and burnt. I wish we didn't get it to go or I would have demanded a refund. Go to McDonald's for half the price and the food is better.

Shakes - Yes. Burgers - Nope.Look, the burger game is fierce out there. You really need to stand out or have something to pull me in and buy into a nearly $8 basic burger or one of your $10 specialty burgers. And those are burger only prices. No combo. No drink. No fries. Shake Shack burgers just don't cut it. They are okay. Barely worthy of the 3 star rating but truly nothing special. Unless you are a true fan of mediocre burgers, then this is your place. Now, I don't typically call out other businesses in a review, because I like to be fair. But if I'm looking for a really good burger, that comes with a decent price tag to it, I know these five guys that will make be a great burger, every time. More than twice the quality, twice the flavor and always fresh. Same, or less, cost. I don't have any problem spending $9 for a really good and fresh burger.Fries? Again, they're okay.Shakes? They're good. But are they blow me out of the water good? No. They're shakes. Remember those five guys I mentioned earlier? You can get one of those guys to make a shake that's just as good.Service is where I get stuck. I've only had Shake Shack from an online delivery order. The order showed up incorrectly. So, for that reason, I had to go back and get the missing items and have incorrect items correctly made. Even though the younger lady and young man at the register were utterly useless (as most of us have grown to expect these days) the manager came out to clarify the issue I had. He did this because, A) He knew he couldn't count on the dynamic duo at the register to get this correct and, B) Because he knew that I was now driving in from what should have been a simple delivery order. I should also clarify that I came in cool and calm. Not a big deal, really. I was chill and he was great about the situation. For that reason, I need to give the guy at least one bonus star from the two that I would have left.Would I go back? Nah. Simple as that. No need to pick at the scab on this one. Food isn't up to snuff. Value for quality is way off.

I first learned about this place in Chicago every since then I've been sold, the food here is "fast food" so it's not something special or elegant "it's burger and fries" however THE best burger & fries I believe is out there, I would recommend eating here then other places,Their employees were very respectful and friendly our food was hot and ready the place was clean/ busy and fast paced.. love it

When we first went to shake shack, it was opening day, we caved and hopped in line, which was wrapped around and down liberty center. By the time we got to order a lot of menu items were sold out, so we're back a year later to try the full experience. We studied the menu before getting in the line, and I knew I wanted to try the pepper burger, and the avocado burger.Service did take a little bit, about 7-10 mins but the food was fresh. The burgers and fries came out looking fantastic. The pepper burger was delicious, spicy and a perfect combo with the sauce. Definitely getting that again, the avocado burger looked pretty, but lacked a deep flavor. I did get the single, maybe a double would have balanced the flavor more, but it was still a solid burger. The sauce is great on it, just needs one more topping to make it stand out.Gf- I got a cheese burger, it was good, a bit crispy. Fries were salty and golden brown.Overall: price is a little high but the burgers are bigger than i remembered, I'd say worth it.

We went through the drive through only wanting to order shakes. The machine was down for chocolate, we could only get a vanilla shake. Service was not very friendly and the shake was overpriced and not that great. Chick-Fil-A makes better shakes.
