As someone who enjoys Korean barbecue both in Korea and in the US, Seoul is pretty decent. During my visit, I brought family who was fairly new to K-bbq and they felt that it was delicious but would be overwhelming if they went by themselves and didn't have someone guiding them through the experience. During our visit, we ordered both the barbecue and hot pot although afterwards I would recommend only doing one since it is a lot going on at the table. We ended up trying most of their meats and ended up loving the short rib the most for barbecue. This restaurant is a true all you can eat style of kbbq, and they bring out some solid size portions to order. The server was very attentive and I enjoyed that the table has a call button just like in typical restaurants in Korea. The restaurant was very clean, and I got a sense of authenticity and true Korean heritage when I walked in. A few things I wish they could add is serving kimchi and banchan at the table rather than the side buffet. I didn't even know there was a buffet until I asked our server for kimchi. As well, I think having dishes that have multiple wells for different sauces would be helpful. Lastly, the buffet has a lot of sauces, all of which are tasty but having some traditional pairing recommendations would be helpful for people who are newer to K-bbq and could help them have a positive experience.

Birthday girl chose hot pot! We had a great dinner - we did just the hot pot (you can do bbq here too). Loved that each seat got their own hot pot, and therefore could choose your own base/broth. Mine was miso and just right. Lots of meats and veggies to choose from, and the sauce bar for extra flavorings. The veggies were nice and fresh. Server came around several times to see if we needed anything and to take orders for additional ingredients. We only ordered twice and were full! Our server was fantastic and our orders came promptly. We had reservations on a Saturday night - there were empty tables when we arrived but by the time we left, the restaurant was full. The restaurant is very large and clean, with nice decor. Big parking lot.We had a great experience and would definitely come again for hot pot!

Tried this place for the first time for lunch with my daughter. The ambiance was typical Korean BBQ. We ordered the AYCE BBQ ($19.99 per person). We chose beef, chicken, pork, fish, zucchini, mushrooms & onions. Our server checked on us often. The meat had a good flavor but also had some gristle. We liked the fish the best. The mushrooms were inedible. The fried rice was passable. The zucchini & onions were good. We enjoyed the sauce bar. Cooking the meat on the BBQ was okay but if I go back, I will order the hot pot next time.

I met some family for dinner last night and we agreed to give this place a try. Located in Deerfield Township, near all the shopping, this place was easy to find with loads of parking.A m not sure what I expected but when I walked in I was surprised at the quality decor and fun vibe I got - cool bar and plenty of seating. I also saw some robots roaming with drinks that would be delivers to your table - an overall experience. The all you can eat menu was a bit overwhelming but the staff helped us through - basically it was $29.95 for the all you can eat BBQ and for $5 more you could include the hot pot as well. You choose every element from the broth to the meat and veggies - lots to choose from with vegetarian options as well.We all loved our food, the simplicity of cooking, and the conversation. It was a great meal and super dining experience.

Our visit was during the lunch rush, and we knew we were in for a treat with their AYCE deal at $20 a pop. And let me tell you, we were grinning like Cheshire cats with our decision.. at least until we let the siren call of the AYCE hot pot lure us in for an extra $5 per head.Walking into the restaurant, we were greeted with a sight to behold - spacious interiors, ample seating, and booths wide enough to fit a small village. Our server was like a seasoned AYCE whisperer, guiding us through the ordering process, emphasizing max quantity before ordering more, ensuring we didn't bite off more than we could chew (literally) and avoiding the dreaded food wastage fee.Once we placed our initial order, we made a beeline for the sauce bar which conveniently doubled as a pit stop for appetizers and later, dessert. Grabbing extra plates and bowls like we were preparing for a buffet apocalypse, we dove headfirst into the KBBQ extravaganza. And let me tell you, the KBBQ items were the real MVPs of the meal. From quality cuts of meat to perfectly seasoned morsels, each bite was a symphony of flavor. I was lucky to go with someone who happily did the grilling so I got to do what I do best - eat my heart out (PRO TIP lol). And who knew King Oyster Mushrooms could steal the show? I mean, I'm usually all about that meaty meat, but those mushrooms? Absolute game-changers.Now, if you're thinking of hitting this place up during lunch, be warned: some dinner menu items might be off-limits. But fear not, the staples are still up for grabs. Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken Bulgogi... you get the drift. And don't sleep on the Spicy Fish Fillet - buttery soft and utterly divine! As for the hot pot, well, let's just say it didn't quite live up to the hype and left us wishing we'd stuck to the KBBQ-only plan. Even with different soup bases (he went for Original Herb, I went for Thai Tom Yum), it was not enough flavor variation.Service was solid. Our server was on point, ensuring our grill stayed sizzling and our plates stayed empty. Reordered items? Done in a flash. Two rounds in and we were ready to throw in the towel (or, more accurately, loosen our belts). But you bet your bottom dollar there's always room for dessert. All in all, this joint is a definite contender for our dining hall of fame. Even with a laundry list of other restaurants, we still find ourselves reminiscing about this place and plotting our next visit. When it comes to good food and great company, there's always room for seconds... and thirds... and maybe even fourths.

Tried this newer place tonight and it is very interesting. Each table has a burner for the Korean BBQ as well as a cooktop for the hotpot on each side for multiple guests. You cook the food yourself which was kind of fun as well. The good quality is very good, the cuts of meat we tried were tasty and trimmed so they could cook quickly. The restaurant us will laid out and they have fun serving robots that drive around and deliver drinks and let you pour your used trays and plates on them. Very cool! The robots have faces and talk as well. For my tastes the food was quite salty which I'm not a huge fan of but everything comes out very very fast, even the endless appetizers are super quick. An overall fun experience and groups recommend everyone to try it!

My boyfriend and I are visiting friends in Ohio this weekend and were excited to see they have an AYCE KBBQ place! They also have AYCE hot pot. It's $29.99/pp unless you choose to do both, and then it's $34.99/pp. I think they have cheaper lunch prices too.We had four of us and ordered quite an array of meats. It's more Americanized than others I've been to in my area in that there weren't really any banchan (side dishes) and instead of giving us one or two sauces, they invited us up to the sauce bar, where we can mix and match our own sauces. The sauce bar did have kimchi, some fruits, and a very tasty strawberry shortcake-tasting cake. Of everything we ordered my favorites were the beef bulgogi; the spicy pork belly, surprisingly (I can't do spice but it's not very spicy); and the zucchini. Each person in your party is allowed four items but that's PER round. There's also a $13.99/lb overage charge if you waste food aka don't finish it.You can also order side dishes and we got some edamame, gyoza, and veggie spring rolls; I believe they had a seaweed salad and a few other options too.Overall this was very tasty and I'd come back when in the area.

This place is seriously so good! Great value for what you get and they have crab legs FRI SAT SUN in the sauce/side bar!! Great crab. Hot pot was delicious and so was the bbq. Not sure why this is rated 3.5.. deserves way higher. Saying that as someone who's been to a lot of Korean bbq places. This place challenges some of the best Korean food in LA! Give it a try!**I'd like to note that most Korean bbq places have you cook your own food; this is a part of the experience. You are not allowed to take left overs home to minimize food waste from over ordering; this is standard practice. I felt I needed to add this after reading some reviews of people being upset they have to cook their own food and that they couldn't take food home... this is quite literally the definition of all you can eat Korean bbq... please do a quick google search before leaving a terrible review.
