I highly recommend the spot from the food to the cocktails to the ambience if you're ever in Ohio and your down in the Lynnwood area, this is definitely a place to come try out will definitely support and be back.

Places like this are becoming few and far behind. Scherpies is a family owned produce store and deli. They consistently sell the freshest produce and deli meats around. What I love best about this gem is the lunch time sandwiches and salads. Those who are tired of the normal fast food lunch stops usually flock to Scherpies on a weekly basis. I'm there at least once or twice a week to get a fresh salad from the bar.Highly recommended place to try for those tired of the normal fast food joints and craving something fresh.

What a great find this place is!Your classic old school deli is a hidden gem nestled somewhere between the side streets of Saint Bernard and Elmwood Place. Try the daily hot or cold sandwich special. With fresh sliced Boars Head meats you will not be disappointed.Park on street or in the lot, hop on in and head up to the counter. Daily specials are on the back wall board. The speedy sandwich artists will help you personalize your sandwich and get you in and out in a jiff. Make it a meal and grab yourself a beverage on the way out!

I've gotten a few sandwiches from this place and have always been satisfied. The cost of food is reasonable and staff is extremely kind.I have yet to have a sandwich that got me super excited, though. Good thing is that it's affordable enough to try out different combinations and maybe I will find that perfect sandwich!

Visited after one of my coworkers and long term Cincinnati locals brought in a corned beef sandwich from here. It looks like a corner convenience store from outside, however instead has fresh produce lined along the walls. Then there is the deli counter, which is pretty much a create your own sandwich deal. Some onsite prepared items such as deviled eggs, potato salad and Macaroni salad. A salad bar is available, however I have more convenient salad bars available to me. I do like that I can create a combo with a deviled egg instead of your typical bagged chips, but those are available too. All in all, it was OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit, but if I'm in St. Bernard, and its before 1pm when the toasters are on, I can see myself stopping.

First I have to say I would've never found this place without a coworker and soon to be Yelper (thanks to yours truly). This place is literally a counter in the back of a small produce store. They have a salad bar and sell wild flowers as well. I have recently been on the hunt for the best sandwich places in the city and now I have to add this one to the list. They use Boars Head products and the sandwich is a nice serving. For a little over five bucks (5.29) you get a nice serving of meat, lettuce,tomato, razor thin red onion and pickles. Chips and a drink are a $2+ up charge so I decided to pass. The temperature of the sandwich is what stood out most to me. It was incredibly fresh and on rye bread my turkey and Vermont cheddar took on a new life.....creating a new experience for me!It's not the best price or the best serving as far as my list of sandwich places go. It's not a locally sourced/ organic type of fru- fru place either but the service was wonderful and my sandwich seemed to be at the peak of freshness. I'm glad I stopped in. Solid sandwiches with quality meats. They have a menu but looks like most people are getting custom made.On recommendation I got a double decker peppered turkey/roast beef with pepper jack cheese. LTMO .One big sandy!! And tasty.Personal positive: they slice the onions thin...key for onions if you like them.

Great family owned place, had a sandwich and a drink. Inexpensive and tasty! Definitely would recommend
