Love their chicken salad!!! Wonderful service! And a great price for homemade food. The dining area was clean and welcoming.

real reviews get deleted. no response on anything other than a positive review.My experience yesterday was less than I expected. I came in yesterday after a few of my friends ordered from the day before. As I always do I volunteer to run for lunch for everyone. My entire time spent from the walk in the door til I got back in my car was 57 mins. I've spent 37 years of my life working in the restaurant business and I have witnessed a lot of chaos but I remember now why I don't go out much anymore. The ladies were very friendly that I will say. The view from the other side of the counter is mind boggling. 1 lady started my sandwich and then 1/4 of the way through went to the back. The other ladies were swapping out areas like they were square dancing. No task that got started was completed by the person who started it. At 1 point 3 people touched the same sandwich. Gloves are fine but burger to club is cooked food to cold food and gloves don't discriminate. The girl that wandered off into the back must have not noticed that she was needed because they kept telling her to forget that and get out there. She also touched my sandwich on her return. It would seem to me that if each one had a set station to concentrate on that it wouldn't look like a Laurel and Hardy show from the customers perspective. The people on both sides of me where also somewhat indifferent about what was going on. I picked up a menu off the counter on the way in the door to have to take back to make it easier for them to order next time and that was convenient however when I got to the register to pay my $37 order was $54 because the menu that I had reflected the old prices. My $7.99 burger was actually $9.99 and so were all the other sandwiches I ordered. It is not okay to display old menu prices and then blindside someone at the register with the real prices. All of your staff kept saying "we'll that's the old prices". So what. If you don't update the menu then why should I find out during the payment process. Pull the menus and make it easier for the people in line looking at the paper menu to be on board with the changes. You have a wonderful little gem here in this plaza but make the necessary changes so first timers like me don't spend their morning steaming over the residual experience. I wanted to post this on google first but my husband is a sensible man and ask me to reach out. P.S. please respond.Terry

I was drop a package off at The UPS Store and the employee their recommended Block Deli! I love supporting family owned businesses and this one is awesome!! I ordered the Jalapeño Chicken Salad, house made potato salad and a snickerdoodle! The chicken salad had a nice kick and the potato salad tasted like my mom and was a large portion! On top of the perfect lunch they also have great customer service!! Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to come back!

I love this place! My partner and I love their chicken salad sandwiches, but they have tons of other sandwiches and wraps to offer as well. They have 5 different types of chicken salad. We've had the original, the sweet Jamaican, and the Cajun one. All of them are so good and anytime we think of wanting chicken salad we will always come here. I definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try!

I absolutely love their pasta salad and chicken salad. They've switched locations 3 times since being in the crescent springs area so make sure you go to the right location. Their hours are shorter than most so double check those too before you leave ! They have outdoor seating and an entire patio during the warmer months. They cater too! There's been a few times I've been really craving their pasta salad and they were closing within 5 mins and stayed open just for me to come and pick up the pasta salad. A real local gem.

I ordered chili to go. They had to microwave it and it's still cold. Not only that but it has a layer of grease floating on top and it looks like dog food. I have never paid so much for such vile "food" in my life. I wish I'd gone to Remke's deli instead.

Great hidden gem. We stumbled onto this on our way from Cincinnati to Lexington. Very clean, very friendly staff, you can tell they not only enjoy working here, they enjoy working with each other. We had the chicken salad and sampled the Jamaican chicken salad- out of this world! The bean soup is awesome. We will be stopping here any time we come through the area.

if there was a zero star rating, that's what this place would get! this was my very first time ever trying this place. I was told that there was decent food but after what I have seen I'm not so sure. I completely am appalled at what I have seen. Employees are wearing gloves as they're supposed to but then they're also wiping their faces and noses with gloves on. I can only imagine what else is going on there.I personally along with my employees, and staff will never eat at this location ever again!
