Perfect night!
The amount of cigarette and other smoke from the audience was so bad it obscured the band -- despite unenforced "NO SMOKING" policy

This is an awesome venue, we were delighted with every aspect of the experience. Parking was easy, plenty of staff to direct you. Security check was quick and laid-back. Once you're inside the gates there's a big plaza area with all kinds of seating where you can relax, smoke, mingle, yet you're just steps away from entering the seating area. Plenty of food and drink options are available. Prices high, naturally, but I would say overall below average for concert arenas. Ladies room had scores of stalls and sinks and was very clean. The merchandise stand had a well planned line setup and it moved very quickly as there were five people behind the counter. My husband has mobility issues so we got seats in that section so he could use his scooter. Many staff members around to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. And the view from that section is actually fantastic. If you or companion needs accommodation, you will be thrilled with what Rose Music Center offers.Every single staff member we encountered was so kind, cheerful, friendly and super helpful. This is an amphitheatre so it's outdoors but fully covered so the show goes on rain or shine. I will not hesitate to come here again for another show.We saw the Stray Cats and they were fabulous!

Super nice outdoor venue with overhead protection from the sun and rain. The staff was all pretty friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were super clean and easy to find. They had water refilling stations for free and misters in case you got too toasty. I didn't see any food there but I didn't really look much for food since I didn't need any. Smaller venue so everyone gets a really good view of the stage.

This is a wonderful venue. My suggestions to make it five star: 1) better parking lot markers so people can see where they parked. We found people wondering around unable to find the signage. 2) more than one site selling t shirts and memorabilia. People stood in long lines in the rain because there's only one small shop selling this. We gave up and walked away as many others did. It's not had to set up a few other tents or portable sheds to sell items to speed sales 3) All the ceiling fans are at the entrance areas. A few should be nearer the center or front as it gets extremely hot with no relief for those buying premium tickets. I hope to return in the future and it would be great to see some changes.

What a great place for a concert. It's small, 4200 ppl so there's not a bad seat in the house, with great acoustics. For the ladies lots of bathrooms, and cleaned throughout the concert. Not much in the way of food/snacks and you can't carry anything in but a water bottle, which is pretty typical these days but annoying. All in all definitely a venue we'll be back to.

First time at this venue, saw Santana (2023).Venue: The good: Nice place, compared to other venues I might call this more intimate with its size. Parking is well managed, the staff were super nice, restrooms were pretty clean and I believe they were air conditioned.Pavilion is open at the sides and along the top rear, allowing the breeze to come through. They also have large fans if it gets too hot. Seats themselves were nice and cup holders were a perk. Merch line was well managed too, and lines move remarkably fast for their size. The concessions service was also very good.Security was not overbearing (lots of weed smell and they did not go chasing it) but they did their job kicking a belligerent, drunkard out. Thanks! The meh: The side screens are a bit dated and had a rasterized appearance along highlighted edges. The concessions/food was ok. Not amazing but ok. (please add better coffee options for those of us who do not drink). Also the only VIP options I found were for season tickets. As a regular VIP consumer, I found this disappointing because I was traveling from out of state to see family and the show. I will not be in Ohio enough to make the season VIP applicable, so this was a missed opportunity for RoseMC.The Sound: I thought is sounded decent from the far back where I was. I will admit the drums (Tom's and kick) were not gated properly in the mix. The bass was also a bit thick. These combined into a rumble that never seemed to resolve. If I had to guess, there was a person who mixed the drums and another who mixed the rest. In this instance the drums being mixed to sound amazing alone did not translate well into the whole group. Just my guess. It was more bass heavy than I would have preferred. (This is a theme among reviews but the bass (overall sound mix) not a venue issue, it is a traveling act issue. No traveling act is going to roll the dice and rely on local sound reinforcement from all the mixed venues they visit. The traveling band brings it all with them. So don't blame the venue. Blame the hyper-drum focus of traveling bands today. Also, the design of the venue is fine, not what is causing the heavy base issue, it's just not. (Reference: I was a theatrical technical director for over a decade))One cool thing is that Carlos's wife (the drummer) grew up very close to Huber Heights (where the music center is). She grew up in Yellow Springs, where Dave Chappell grew up and lives now. To my delighted surprise Dave Chappell made a cameo on stage at the show and he ended up pecking along with the percussionist :)Overall I really enjoyed my experience and will likely return at some point when I am in the area and that aligned with an act I would like to see :)I would recommend you see a show here.

Beer was at a reasonable price for a show.! Like 9$ for what I was drinking. The people that work thier where nice and didn't try and get into your business if you know what I mean! It's a great place to see a show! Not a bad seat in the house!

Small "shed" outdoor experience. No lawn seats. First impressions visit. So happy I went. *Name brand diversified acts at good ticket prices. *Still a processing fee and order fee(see pic). *Every ticket holder can carry in 4 unopened 33oz bottles of water. *If you have a seat in the Pit area, you will be provided cups that water MUST be transferred into. (See pic)* Located conveniently off freeway exit. * Plenty of well marked paved parking areas. *Reasonable concert concession prices. (See pic)*Green space outside the seating area to chill. (See pic)* Plenty of clean bathrooms. * not sure if the cool mist spray tent is regular* All ticket holders get a seat under the pavilion. (See pic)* Permanent video screens on each side of stage. (See pic)* Decent size stage is only chest high. (See pic)* Pit seating is folding chairs that have the rows too close together. Extremely difficult to get past others in your row. Any drinks on the floor are inevitably spilled. * Sound varies by seat and event artist sound team. I stayed for the very last song and was in the car and back on the interstate within 30min. Venue is 60miles from 270. I'm glad I went on the weekday and gave up far less sleep than driving to Cincy or Cleve. I will definitely be following for future events.
