Rose & Jim's Bar & Grill

We come here once a year... and it continually is the BEST food and service. We sat at the end of the bar, had potato skins and cheeseburgers, beers and cocktails. Watched football and played the juke box for about 3 hours. CASH ONLY! We always have a great time. The bikers and locals treat us great and waved when we left. See you next fall!!!! Staff is the best!!!She would check on us and refill those delicious COLD beverages

Great place! Great food! Awesome Cheeseburger! Friends recommended it and we love it! Enjoying a lazy Sunday Funday sitting outside listening to great music and watching a Cornhole tournament. It's our new favorite place close to the Ky Horse Park when we are camping! The owner, Jim, she's great! Super friendly staff! Stop by when you can!

FYI...21 or older all the time. Wanted to stop by due to the overall good ratings for a nice casual meal on a Sunday at 12:30, but alas, though the only people other than the staff, still 21+. I thinks that's perfectly fine, but not ideal. So, won't be back unfortunately. I can't fairly rate the place otherwise, but it is making me, so I just clicked the existing average.

You're going to think I'm crazy. But I promise I'm not. It's the best bar food around. Tasty. Well prepared. The menu isn't extensive, but the food is tasty and the beer is cold. And the staff is amazing.

Wow! Holy Covid-Hot Spot! I drove by here last night about 9pm and there was nowhere to park and the whole place, all of it---packed. Well above 50% capacity, more like just about 100 or even more. Shame on you.

New to town and a Harley rider. Was looking for a biker friendly joint. Rolled in on a Saturday afternoon to one bartender and two other people. Tried to crack a light joke. Bartender to dumb to get it and became semi hostile. Didn't even great us and then waddled back to the kitchen to make the other people's food. I left won't be back which is too bad because I love me a great biker dive bar but this was just too crappy of an intro.

Best venue in Lexington - Hands Down! Great location. Great property!During the day, the food is great. All the bartenders are awesome!It makes no sense that they charge a cover on weekend nights, but I still love the place.This place should be FULL and LIT, but it's not?

Stopped in to eat and the staff/bartender was rude. As you walk in there are signs explaining it is cash only establishment and I understand some people can't read. But when the bartender came over, she was snooty and almost threw the menu towards us, and said "we are cash only" and walked away. Would not recommend this place.

This is not a place you would want to take the family. It is a pub. Very dark. Music a mixture of Honky Tonk and Rap. Food was good and prices were very fair. They do not accept credit or debit cards but they have an ATM that will cost $3.50 to use. We did not have a bad experience there. It was just not what we expected. Probably won't return.

Sam was a superstar and the food and atmosphere was amazing. I am so happy to have found this gem in Kentucky!! Highly recommend.
