Roney's

There are pictures of their roast beef sandwiches and fries so I'm not going to add more. Roy Rodgers was a childhood memory so when I am in the Milford area I always have to make a visit. If you like real roast beef and not pressed Roney's is the place. They are know for their chicken which I've never gotten since the roast beef sandwich is what I want. It's a typical "fast food" place so nothing extravagant and don't expect top class service.

We stopped in for lunch yesterday while in the area. We were disappointed enough we likely wouldn't ever return. First - the counter service was so unfriendly and unwelcoming it was off-putting. Even when greeting her and asking her how she was doing - she did not make eye contact, smile or even attempt to be friendly. My husband ordered the 1/4 lb Cheeseburger and a small Fries. I ordered a combo meal of a Roast Beef sandwich with Cheese, a small Fries and a small Coke. What a disappointment! The roast beef sandwich is fairly small for the price but was enough for me. The roast beef was dry. The cheese is just a cold piece of unmelted American cheese slapped on the beef. My husband said his burger tasted like preformed frozen meat and that it was very, very dry. He had a hard time even wanting to finish it because he said he didn't like it but was hungry. The fries were fine. The place was clean. And there were barely any customers at lunchtime. I can understand why. I know it's hard to compete with chains - but good food and good service go a long way. We had neither yesterday and so we won't be back.

Prepare to empty your wallet. Small roast beef sandwich. Food in general not worth the price. Two people at lunch time (each ordered reg rb sandwich, reg fry, lg drink $33)

Roney's is always on point! The roast beef is delicious and tender every time! The sandwich's are plentiful , bordering on huge! The service is counter service which isn't a drawback to me , I don't mind it at all.

It's feels and taste like a good old Roy Roger's restaurant! Great roast beef sandwich. Arby's doesn't even come close!

I'm honestly really upset with the new owners and not keeping the old family recipes and consistency. Apple Crisps are not the same anymore just tastes like apple filling from a can with some brown sugar on top. I miss the old Roney's and the owner but I understood he had to retire just really upsetting ): You a real one if you remember they used to put cheese in the crisp crust! Not an Apple CHEESE Crisp anymore

Visited this location for the first time , three employees were at the counter talking . They didn't say anything to me as I walked in. I was on a break and hungry, so I thought if the food is really good?I could let this slide .It wasn't super busy , I said hello and placed my order.Fries were not fresh , roast beef sandwich was ok .Probably wouldn't go back

Food has changed. Small small roast beef .Wait staff had no smiles.Will go to Arby's next time.

If you like bland unseasoned food, this place is for you. If you're old as hell and hate seasoning, this place is for you, if your white white and don't know flavor guess what THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. How does roast beef taste like nothing. Is the only customer base 65 and up? Jesus.

We love Roney's! The roast beef, the double R's, the fried chicken, the fresh shoe strong fries, their new onion rings and mac n' cheese....it's one of our favorite places! Thank you Roney's!
