Romeo's Pizza - Beavercreek, OH, (on Indian Ripple at The Greene). Not horrible. Not great. I was supposed to have garlic butter with my bread sticks and was given marinara. The pizza isn't anything special. They have a sweet sauce for people who like that. Not something that I would order again for myself, but I wouldn't turn it away if someone else bought it.

Romeo's Pizza is a chain pizza restaurant that started in Medina, OH in 2001. This particular location is off of Indian Ripple Road near The Greene Town Center. It's on the other side of the road in the adjacent strip mall. It's a carry out only restaurant with no dine in options similar to Domino's. I ordered online for pickup. I ordered the large 614 Pie which is described as a pizza loaded with 45 traditional pepperoni, 45 Old World style pepperoni and their own Wisconsin cheese blend. I added black olives as an extra topping and added extra provolone cheese. Ordering online, however, was kind of confusing because there was no way to make the whole pizza just the 614 Pie. That was one half of the pizza and you had to choose something else for the other half. I found that frustrating and confusing. Wanting to give them a chance, I picked Tuscan Pepperoni as the second half. I added black olives and extra provolone cheese and opted for the recommended thin crust. Like Papa John's, you get a garlic butter dipping cup or a their own Capone's cup. I ordered the garlic butter cup but they gave me the Capone's cup instead.Flavor-wise, the pizza is okay. The sauce to toppings ratio was good. However, the extra black olives topping I added seemed sporadic. It didn't seem like the olives were evenly distributed on the pizza. The extra provolone cheese was not noticeable to me. I had a hard time distinguishing between the two halves, quite honestly. The sauce is supposed to be on the sweet side. It seemed somewhat sweet but a little tangy to me. The sauce also seemed a little watery. The crust is almost like a homemade pie crust consistency. It's firm and soft with some of the edges being somewhat cracker-like. I didn't really care for it. As previously stated, I asked for the garlic butter dipping cup but got their Capone dipping cup instead. The Capone dipping cup is a vibrant orange sauce with a hot sauce flavor. I would not recommend this unless you like hot sauce on your pizza. I do not. I'm disappointed that the crew didn't give me the garlic butter dipping cup as I ordered. I should've been provided with the option of a substitute if it was not available.I give this pizza a solid 3 star rating. It's acceptable and okay but not to my liking. The order was available in the timeframe promised but I just wasn't a big fan of this pizza. The price came out to $26.98 with a two dollar tip. Considering the price point and the other options available in the surrounding area, I'm not sure if I would visit again. As mentioned before, I wasn't a fan of the crust. It just didn't seem like a typical pizza crust. Note: One thing this establishment does offer is a Deep Dish style of pizza which many places do not offer. If that's something you like, it may be worth considering.

So to start this off I'd like to say I like romeos pizza but I've just had my worst experience with them. So I ordered a large loaded crust pizza and a salad today at 11:30 am and it told me the wait was going to be about 45 min which is weird because I live only about 5 min out but I still waited after 1hr the food got here and the pizza wasn't loaded crust and the salad wasn't here so I called the lady on the phone was nice about it and said she would send another order to my house at this point it's 12:40 and then i wait again after another 1hr and 30 min I call again and my food is still there and she says the dasher was running late and says that if she can't get the food to me she'll give me credit to my account but I don't have a account so then she says she will call here boss and get back to me this was at 2:16 now it's 3:12 and I still do not have my food nor did I get a call back about a refund. So to finish this off if you get romeos never get delivery.(Update)It is now 4:10 I just called again the food is still there which has now been sitting for 3hr and 30 min and they don't know what's happening with door dash and they still don't know what to do about a refund and are waiting for a manager to come in and the manager was supposed to be there at 4.(Final update)It's now 5:16 and i had to call again and this time it was different staff they didn't know what i was was talking about then they found my order asked if I wanted them to remake it again and pick it up myself and after I said no I just want a refund and 7 more min I finally got a refund so in total I spent since 11:30 to 5:16 trying to get a pizza and a salad and only got the wrong pizza no salad and a migraine over all a horrible experience.

What happened to this place?? I honestly don't think Romeos was meant to thrive in Dayton. Tonight I had the worst Romeos pizza in my life. It was very poorly cooked and my order was made incorrectly. Service was subpar. I guess I will have to wait until I M back in Columbus to enjoy this pizza in its true form.

I love their sauce. There used to be a Romeo's in Beavercreek close to the mall. They closed years ago, so, I was excited when I heard another one had been opened. It is just as I remembered!! They are generous with toppings too!!
