Rohs Street Cafe

I stopped by Rohs street to grab some coffee and work for a bit. I was surprised by how spacious it was and how many people were there on a saturday afternoon! It seemed like there were a lot of college students also there working. I got a pumpkin spice latte, which was delicious and better than most that I've had, since it tasted less artificial. It was a great cafe and I wish I had one like this near where I live!

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city! Rohs is such a nice place to go. The staff is nice and informative, and the environment is very inviting. The selection of coffee is wide and the coffee itself is super high quality. A lot of people do work or homework from here and it is a great place for that. Pro tip - there is a deal called the ugly mug where you can get bottomless tea and coffee all day for $5.00. Highly recommend if you plan on hanging out. They also have a few games to offer, and I love playing a game with some coffee as a little date.

I decided to check out Rohs Street Cafe as it's very close to me location-wise, and I always love supporting local coffee shops. Upon entry, I was surprised to find that this coffee shop was bigger than I expected! The counter where you order is right as you step in, with a wide variety of drink options to choose from. It also looks like they have a bunch of small bites, as well as pastries. I ordered an iced caramel latte with oat milk to go, but did eye a bunch of the pastries too. All of them looked delicious. While waiting for my drink, I was able to look around for a bit. There is a lot of fun artwork up on the walls, and lots of plants. There are places for people to sit and get work done, next to a lot of windows, so there is plenty of natural light. My drink came out right away, which I appreciated. There were a few people inside the shop, but it was mostly quiet--a perfect spot to come and get work done. I could see this being a great study spot for UC students. Overall, I'll definitely come back here another time. I'm glad I went in!

When was the last time you went to a coffee shop to just relax or study without being packed? This hidden gem of a coffee shop near UC campus is perfect for that! Get yourself a coffee and do some studying or buy some local art that is hanging on the walls. They also have small outdoor space to enjoy the good weather. Service is quick and there is plenty of street parking. Highly recommend as WFH spot outside of your house!

Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised at the size and the feel of the place. There are plenty of places to sit and work or to just spend some time catching up with a friend. Anything from a quiet table in a separate room, to a comfy couch, to a large table for a group. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was friendly. There is a shelf with lots of board games and some local art. The coffee was good. Small assortment of pre-wrapped pastries.

I am visiting Cincinnati for a recruitment event and heard some graduate students mention Rohs, so I decided to check it out. I am absolutely in love! There are plenty of tables to get work done (a must for college students), an extensive menu, a friendly and quick staff, and very good vibes. I love the fact that it's a refurbished church. If I end up coming to UC, I'll be back - and probably back often.

Super nice staff and quick service! Matcha is my fav. Lots of places to sit. Parking can sometimes be tricky. The side rooms are usually quiet enough to actually have a conversation without screaming. The main room can get loud with patrons and music but not so much so that you can't semi-tune it out (perfect level for anyone needing ambient cafe noise while writing, working, or studying). Absolutely my go to place when I need to set a meeting near campus.

Shop as a great atmosphere. I couldn't finish my beverage because it just wasn't that good and was incredibly sweet. I can usually drink anything with coffee in it, but this was a, "no go." Someone else might like it, but it was just kinda bleh. The person I came with ordered a chai latte and said that it was just ok. Not spicy enough. The bread we ordered to share was also just a solid 3 stars. I kinda regretted walking past a Starbucks to go here. If it wasn't for the amazing ambiance, I would've given it 2 stars. The baristas were courteous, but not super outgoing.

This is what I have to say. Go here if annd only if you are willing to be sent to an alternate dimension. I'm not sure what is in the coffee, but I have NEVER felt this way (positive connotation). I have been bouncing off the walls for several hours and I think it is not only the sheer content of caffeine I ordered, but also the pure flavor and joy this coffee brought to my otherwise average day.
