Rivertown Mkt Iga

This place has done a lot in recent years to turn it's reputation around. Store is always clean, stocked, friendly people and they have an in house meat cutter who provides some of the best meat selection and prices in the region. So much better experience than standing in the lines at the big box stores.

I went to IGA Tonight and bought a jar of whipped dressing. The problem is, NEW RICHMOND IGA ARE STOCKING THE SHELVES WITH OUT DATED BRANDS. The date on the item I purchased is 06 SEP 19. People check the dates before putting anything in your carts. Just wrong.

Wanting a grocery store in which you don't want to feel like you went on a hike ...this is it!The deli is fantastic. Freshly made items! The deli and meats are better and much cheaper than Kroger's. The ground beef is not pre-packaged like the big grocery stores now do. They also have smaller portions of meat so a small family doesn't need to buy bulk packages.Amazingly this smaller grocery store is cheaper on my grocery bill than Walmart and Kroger's. I'm not made to buy bulk. I buy just what we need. We've bought amazing steaks too! I will admit sometimes the steaks are a bit pricey but so are the other stores! They are big on customer service !

We camp in New Richmond in the summertime and shop here during that time. This grocery store reminds us of how service use to be. Always friendly cashiers & store personnel . The store is always stocked and clean. The deli has the BEST fried chicken anywhere, the banana pudding is great also. New Richmond recently flooded and IGA invited us to move our campers to their parking lot so they would be safe from the flood. Thank you so much to IGA
