River's Bend Wine and Spirits

I have bought regularly from this store since it was purchased by the current owner. There is no garbage can outside the building so I brought a very small lunch bag inside and with my purchase I asked if they would put it in the garage. They refused to let me place my Wendys Paper bag in their trash can . After a discussion I was allowed the privilege of putting it in the trash can .TERRIBLE RUDE customer service over something so silly... never going back!Shame on them.

Charge a 3% surcharge if you use credit and do not disclose it. Unless you ask for a receipt you won't know about this charge. Plenty of other beverage stores in the area that don't offer this charge.

First pay attention to the newer reviews here as it was sold 2 years or so back.Yes the place is nice and clean but my negative review is because about 40% of the time they are out of stock of my brand and size of boubon. I have mentioned this many times and all I get is "sorry". To me, actions speak louder than words here. I have been going to O'bryans on Columbia and have had better selection and service IMHO.

Went for the first time yesterday and enjoyed the experience (for the most part). The service was fast and friendly (and the employees were helpful) and the prices were actually pretty competitive. The only thing that does not make this 5 stars for me is the way it's not very well organized to my liking, I mean (I'm actually not sure how it's supposed to be organized... possibly by size?).

My husband and I LOVE the people who run this store. They are so welcoming, and amazing! They remember us, and always invite us to try new things. This store is close to our house, but if we are closer to another liquor store we will go out of our way to go to this one. Can't say enough good things about them, and their business. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will order it. Other than that they have a wide variety or beer, liquor and wine. They even have juice, pop and other parts that go along with cocktail making.

The only way I can recommend this place is if you like to overpay for something that you can buy for cheaper a mere 5 minutes away. I had a frustrating time there tonight. Since there was no price on the bottle The worker charged me $14.99. I told him that they only charge $9.99 for the same thing at o'bryans. He said no this is a $13.99 bottle of wine, so i corrected him and told him you charged me $14.99 and he said oops and corrected it to $13.99 but he said he wouldn't charge me the 3% credit card fee. Save yourself the frustration and go to o'bryans or Cappys or somewhere else where they appreciate your business.

Great store and a convenient location. They have a wide variety of craft beers and exotic wines. They also have everything from PBR to Keystone and anything from Milwaukee for those that don't like craft or micro brews. This is a great store for your spirit needs.

Decent selection. Nice people, especially PK. My only complaint is that sometimes their supplier does not bring in my weekly buy of 2 12 pack pallets of honey brown ale. I am not sure it's their fault as much as the distributor but still it's annoying.

Went in to use a gift card I got and they would not accept it. I was told the gift card was purchased under the previous owner and name "Riversbend Wine & Spirits" but the store is still using the same name and advertising under the same name!!! My gift card is less than a year old. Very distasteful and disappointing especially at the holidays. My family and I will definitely be supporting local, family owned business like O'Bryans from here on out. The State liquor store in Kings Mills is much nicer and cleaner with wider aisle space if you choose to support these folks.

Very friendly staff. Smile and a hello. Asked if we needed help and then checked stock for me on a bottle I wanted. Wife got power Ball tix and Bourbon Cream. Will be back.
