Ceremony set up
Our reception set up
We provided the petals, paper hearts (from Harry Potter!), and the favors. Receptions staff set it all up for us.

I had my wedding and reception at Receptions last week. It was perfect. We live in Phoenix Arizona, so our mothers planned every aspect of the wedding. We did the Winter Wonderland package, talk about a bang for your buck. The food was excellent, the cake was delicious. Kayla our sales rep was an excellent coordinator and she was always timely with questions that came about. Our wedding captain Brandy, was excellent, kind and very tentative during the event. I highly recommend this venue if your planning your wedding. The decorations, table lines and china were excellent. I had over 100 guest and they all really enjoyed the event. Thank you Receptions for making my special day perfect. Cindy and Walter Wesley.

We have had our annual nursing conference here many times over the years. We were so excited to be back April 1 after the pandemic. The staff is so great to work with and a special shout out to Dennis for all he does to make sure our event runs smoothly! We have already schedule our conference for April 14 2023!

Receptions is absolutely beautiful. I now understand why so many people use their venues for their special events. My dad had his wedding and reception all at this location. It was so convenient to be at the same venue for the entire event. There were other weddings and parties going on but I never came a cross any of the other parties guests, which was great. The area were the ceremony took place was really nice and spacious. There were plenty of chairs and the space was decorated beautifully. My only gripe was it was quite warm in the ceremony area, but my father did have quite a few guests which could have caused the warmer room. The reception room was absolutely breathtaking. The chandeliers and molding made the room look so regal. The food is delicious. I have been to quite a few weddings and the menu is not normally this good. People were going back for seconds and thirds. This is definitely a place to consider if you have an impending special event.

This is a perfect place for a business conference. There are multiple rooms so you can get one just the perfect size. All the hookups for sound, projectors, presentations and lights were perfect and exactly what we needed. Easy to find and tons of parking. The food was made in house and fresh and delicious. The sales team was all about our needs and the packages they offered were easy to consider and all inclusive. I can imagine how this would make a perfect place for a wedding, business meeting, dance or even an awesome birthday party or other celebration. Definitely try them out!

I cannot say enough good things about Receptions. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here in October 2013 and we could not have been more pleased. I get why brides would shy away from a place like this. I do. But, I was not your typical, super detail-oriented, over-the-top, fussy, Bridezilla. I wanted something simple and easy and stress free. Receptions provided that for me. We originally booked the 2 smaller rooms for a Sunday afternoon. We were going to have the ceremony in one and then open up both rooms to have one big reception room. I got to pick the color of napkins and some of the linen options. They have a few different options for centerpieces and decor. It was SO simple. It was this or that, yes or no, and everything was taken care of. With Receptions, you don't have to worry about set up or clean up. It's all included. They have a handful of different package options, tons of food choices, bar packages, the works. The food is delicious. The head chef here does an amazing job. We had tons of compliments on the food. They offer a couple of food tastings each year - we went to one in March and then nailed down our decisions in a few months before the wedding. The night before the wedding, they called me to let me know that one of the bigger rooms would be available if I wanted to have my ceremony in that room instead. That way, there wouldn't have to be any set up after the ceremony for the reception. It worked out perfectly and I am SO glad they provided that option. On the day of the wedding, I had a room captain who coordinated everything for us. He was amazing. He kept us updated on what was going on and what would happen next. He was on top of everything all afternoon. He kept my wine glass full and made sure my bridal party was taken care of. I had been to a few wedding receptions here before -- and the month before my own wedding, I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding with a reception here as well. The service has always been stellar and the food is outstanding. I am really glad I chose to have everything all in one place. It made things very easy for our guests - especially because we had some out of towners. And I really couldn't be happier with how stress-free the Receptions staff made our day. If you're not someone who is going to meltdown over the details of your centerpieces, this is an amazing choice for a venue. I highly, highly, recommend them!!

My best friend had her wedding at Receptions in Fairfield. I got to join her in every step along the way, attended the initial viewing, attended a food tasting, helped pick colors for linens and menu selections. I can tell you that when I get married, this will be the place! The service and staff were friendly, clearly experienced and awesome! No other places around could touch the value they offered and peace of mind we got from knowing 5 locations and hundreds of weddings a year translate to seemless events. They literally think of EVERYTHING! She got to pick her own DJ and opted to have a cake done by Receptions in house Cake Decorator Mindy (has won awards!) The cake was delish and the whole thing was a custom design from a few pics we found on pinterest. Narrowing down a flavor was the most challenging thing, but Mindy offered to do a different flavor on each tier and kept the same price. It was great to know that the cake wouldn't have to be driven around town and Mindy set the whole thing up with a pretty stand. They also have spotlighting for the cake which was cute. Okay, so I like cake.. hahaNext thing that was cool was that we got to pick the linen colors and centerpieces and the coordinator helped us tie all the colors together with custom uplighting around the whole room. We asked about the chef because you can't go wrong with all of the food. (Got to try everything before deciding on the menu) Turns out the executive chef has been at Receptions for like 20 years. Since my friend's wedding, I went to another event there, and the food was different but awesome. So basically for the price of dinner (you only pay by the person, no room charges) you get an amazing, amazing package. They have centerpieces, full length linens, chaircovers, custom lights, chandeliers, all of the set up and clean-up was included too! Definitely recommend!!!

While I personally would not want to have a wedding reception at Receptions in Fairfield, I have attended two pretty ceremonies at this hall. The first was both a marriage ceremony and a reception. The bride and groom chose to do both in the same spot...good because the bar was open from the word "go," but kinda weird because everything happened in the same room. Personal choice, I guess. The second time I've visited Receptions it was just for a wedding reception. On this occasion there was an open bar, a band, and a buffet, all of which the bride (my great-aunt) told me that the Reception's staff had coordinated for her. Both weddings/receptions were held in the same banquet room...it's a nice, pretty non-descript room that the staff decked out by using white table-cloths, but not much else. There is a good sized dance floor in the banquet room. As stated previously, I want something a little more unique for my own wedding but if you need a nice hall for a conference, this place is a safe bet.
