The lights are on but nobody is home at the former Quincy's.
This sign more than likely cost all profits of this abandoned restaurant.
An abandoned chicken restaurant. This former Quincy AKA Pinky's AKA Chicken Louis failed again

Some of the best shrimp! The thai inspired dipping sauce was really good too.

Fried chicken-juicy but just not enough flavor in the breading
Walleye fish (2 piece) and sautéed onions
Repeat of fish and onions

Catch of the day - Catfish with bread, fries, and onion

The building seems to have a leaking celling.
All the equipment is once again removed from this chicken restaurant as other owner fails.

Quincy's is a great find in downtown Dayton. If you're in the mood for deep fried fish, or broasted chicken head over to Quincy's! They even have broasted potato wedges that they sell for 40 cents a piece. All the fish orders here come with fries, toast, and grilled onions. You get a good sized portion of fish, and tons of fries. Although the fries were super soggy. I guess both that and the toast were good for soaking up the oil from the fish.I tried both the catfish (catch of the day) and the cod. Between the two, I liked the cod more, but the person who ordered the catfish liked the catfish more. So it's a toss up.The broasted chicken here was great too. Super juicy on the inside. Since they make their food from scratch it can take a bit to get your food. We put our order in before heading over there. They said it would take ten to fifteen minutes, but it took about forty minutes but that's not their fault. They had a big rush of orders before us.The food here is good, but keep in mind if you get the fish it'll be super greasy. And sometimes that's a good thing. wink wink.I'd come back! Oh before I forget, there's outdoor seating in front of the store, and a small seating area inside the store but they have to let you in through the freezer.

Fish was good Didn't get a big portion for the price, but the hospitality was nice and I recommend a place.

I want to love this place. I really do. It's locally owned and has a great down-home menu. The first couple of times we wanted to go were both on Sundays-they're closed. We finally made it out-craving catfish. They were out of catfish. We settled for walleye which I usually love. It was bland. Both of our orders were wrong. Best tarter sauce ever! The 3 employees we met were some of the friendliest I've met anywhere. They're the reason I'm going to give this place 3 stars-instead of 1-the people and the tarter sauce.

This. Spot. Slaps. Big portions, made flaky and fresh with some insanely good seasoning. There's nothing else to say. One of my favorite joints in Dayton.

My first visit here, the value and food taste and quality were on point. I was so impressed that I went back the next day. Not so much the 2nd time around. I think it was old oil they were cooking in because the shrimp breading was soggy/mushy. I recommend visiting here because I had such a pleasant experience my first visit. I will just ask when was the last time they cleaned the oil if I order a fried menu item.

Had this place on my radar for awhile and wish I never stopped in. I love fried fish especially catfish and can't agree with the other reviews saying the service was friendly. The person taking the order had an attitude and when I tried ordering, she rolled her eyes and yelled if they had any left to the kitchen. She then told me they don't have any for a few days. Usually, 9 times out of 10, I wouldn't care and would get something else but at that point I was done and left. I'll gladly drive by this place from now on

Came here for an after work "snack" yesterday. I had read good reviews and since I'm a southern girl, I was excited to try a place that specializes in fried fish and chicken. It's a small place with no seating so all orders are to go. We ordered the fried shrimp plate, a chicken breast and some potato wedges. Now, if you're in a rush this might not be the place to go to. They cook the food to order so it takes awhile but it's hot and crispy when you get it. No soggy mess here. The prices are right and the fried shrimp were AMAZING! They are massive and the breaking is out of this world delicious. Seriously, you gotta try the shrimp. I thought the chicken was okay and felt the fries that came with the shrimp were more tasty than the wedges. Next time, we try the fish!

Easy to find, reasonable prices, and good customer service.Fish (walleye) and chicken (broasted) was cooked well. Plenty of fries and potato's were flavorful.
