Queen City Wine and Spirits

As others have mentioned, the shady practice at this store is hitting you with a last second credit card surcharge.The surcharge is not mentioned anywhere in the store or before the point of checkout. I don't know a single other liquor store around downtown or Cincy that charges a credit card fee in 2023.

Not much to say other than they are close to the Hilton and they had bubbles. Prices were a little higher than what I would have paid in Chicago, but around what I guess counts for being downtown.From what I could see, there was a nice selection to purchase across wines, beers and hard liquors. They also sell lotto tickets if you are into that.Got three bottles of Yellowtail sparkling rose, which is good for just drinking while watching Game of Thrones in the room. While they had Chandon and Mumm, I didn't get those. I don't know what the stock rotation situation is, but it has been my experience that stores might not sell a Chandon or Mumm as readily as a Yellowtail, Frexinent or Barefoot. Don't want to drop $60-80 on something that may be corked, especially since the bottles aren't on their sides. Also, the Chadon and Mumm had some dust on them, the Yellowtail and Barefoot did not....guessing that they had not been sitting on the shelf as long. I will know when I pop the bottle later today.If I need more, it is good to know there are bubbles in walking distance.

Terrible service. False advertising for a small bottle of tequila. I was refused service for the bottle while having my ID out in my hand. I'm 32 years olds. The bottle was on the shelf with price tag. They said they had to wait for next month.

Beware they charge you a 4.5% fee for using your card to pay. And they don't have the decency to tell you in advance.

I was basically held hostage in this store he really locked me in. Don't like the worker with the curly Afro worst customer service ever I've never had a problem with the store until two days ago he locked me in the store for 15 mins because he told me to get out because I slipped on the floor and he didn't put down a wet floor sign I really want to sue but he is lucky I didn't fall. I want to report this because he is denying people service, not just my service and all I wanted was liquor. Smh i spent at least 20 a day and this how y'all treat people

Let's all celebrate the fact that we can now buy hard liquor on our lunch breaks. This new little shop has all the spirited amenities you could ask for at fair prices. Further, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I asked for a recommendation for whiskey and offered two suggestions. The guy helping me says "I definitely would recommend X, I would never recommend Y" I appreciated the honesty and the assistance in making a quick decision! Also, they didn't mind that I was terribly indecisive and let me swap out my choices until I was happy. You couldn't ask for more convenience or better service!

Surprisingly large store. Good selection of craft beer and a decent selection of wine and liquor as well.

After reading these comments I decided to not visit this store at all. I'll rather drive 10 min out of downtown!

I called a dozen times in about 20 minutes and remained busy!Appears to be a personal call because it was during non -peak hours.Not very customer focused since it remained busy!

Good prices. It's a liquor store people not a sit down restaurant. Convenient for my hotel only a block away
