Pyramid Hill Sculpture Garden in the fall.

It would have been nice to know why the artist presented their bench this way.

An interesting find north of Cincinnati. Odd story of the man who lived on the property and collected many of the sculptures. Most weren't really my taste but it's and interesting drive (I wish there were a few more places to stop along the loop). Outdoor areas are dog friendly and you could take a picnic and enjoy the grounds. We went during a chilly Sunday afternoon and there were very few people so we could drive slow and stop whenever we wanted. I don't think it would be easy to see/stop on busy summer weekends. You can go into the owners home and the museum further into the park. Definitely worth the drive for a leisurely 1/2 day of art. I feel like it would be very kid friendly.

The fee to get in is $10 per person. They have three major things to see. The Pyramid House is one of the places which we were told about as we entered. This "house" is only open for 45 minutes a day which was before we arrived. It would be better for them to be closed Monday and Tuesday. Then they could have all of the items they advertise open. The sculptures are pretty but we were surprised to see that several of them are not being kept in good repair. There is not any information regarding the sculptures available next to the sculptures. There is an app you can use for additional information about some of the artists but nothing giving info about the specific piece you are looking at. We have been to several sculpture parks that rate 5 stars. This one is a 3.

We had a lovely walk through here. Next time we'll have to bring a picnic basket. It was beautiful and peaceful.

It was a gloomy overcast afternoon on a chilly day at the end of March. I was looking forward to stopping here on our road trip down to Gatlinburg. I had been most particularly looking forward to driving around in a golf cart at the park. We pulled up to the welcome center to check in and reserve a cart. While the employee at the desk was friendly and informative, he told us it was too cold to rent out golf carts that day. We were disappointed but still excited about seeing the rest of the park.We spent a couple hours walking and driving around the park. There was so much to see and really a vast array of artwork so you don't feel like you're looking at the same type of design over and over. A really great collection! One strange thing I will add was as we were venturing around the park (I'm pretty confident we were the only people there during the time we spent there) the maintenance truck kept driving past us every time we stopped to look at something. It was very weird.

I went here for The Know's production of "Mongrel" outside at Pyramid Hill. The show was awesome, but before the show my friend and I took some time hiking the grounds. We got to enjoy well laid out paths, cool sculptures, planned garden areas, and well maintained natural plants. I looked up the normal costs of visits and would be really happy to return at those rates, especially when I would be able to spend more time to more fully explore the grounds.

In the Park Rules section of Pyramid Hill's website is this basic guideline. Are we allowed to climb on the sculptures? The sculptures are monumental works of art that can be touched, but climbing on the art can cause damage. We do not allow climbing on the sculptures.I was stunned to find families treating Pyramid Hill like a playground for their children. Kids were on sculptures like it was a theme park. Don't believe me? Go online and you'll find photos that back me up. It's crazy but I wonder if anyone who works at Pyramid Hill cares. (Parents, seriously, sculptures are very expensive and fragile.)Now, that I got my rant out of the way, this is quite the quirky sculpture park. Dates and materials of the outdoor pieces is hit-or-miss. The surprising and intriguing Ancient Sculpture Museum on the grounds actually has an old small newspaper clipping sitting loose near an Egyptian piece to describe it. Don't feel like walking through the rolling hills of the park? You can rent a golf cart to explore it all. There is a fantastic exhibition on the works of Chakaia Booker. Many of these pieces have circulated around the country for years but they look brand new here. Just don't even think of climbing on them.

Never realized this place was here, just outside of Hamilton. Pyramid Hill is a sprawling, wooded park dotted with intriguing sculptures of various scale. I thoroughly enjoyed driving around and admiring the art. On my most recent visit, I also had the privilege of taking in the one-man stage show, Mongrel. The park provided a wonderful backdrop for the show. We drove around in the afternoon, took in the show, and when the lights dropped at its conclusion we were left in the sylvan darkness.I really enjoyed this experience and would love to take in more of the park on my next visit.
