Proof 124 Table and Tavern

This was our first visit. It did not disappoint! I had pot roast sliders and hubby had pork tenderloin sandwich. We also had the tavern pretzels. Everything was delicious. The service is top notch. We will be back!

I started my meal with their loaded potatoe skins. These are a bit above and beyond normal loaded skins. These have smoked chicken in them...so they're healthier ?. Jokes aside, they are very good. Next I had their Ultimate Burger. Big and juicy with plenty of flavor. For me, the onion jam added a bit of sweetness that I am not a big fan of, but all in all it was a really good choice.This is an old firehouse converted into a bar/eatery so it is a bit noisy, but it isn't intended to be quiet and romantic. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The kitchen got all the food out fast, so it was still plenty hot. I would guess that on big sports days, this would be packed. Check it out if you're in Lawrenceburg.

I tried Proof 124 for the first time this past weekend. The server was nice & checked in regularly. We sat outside because the weather was so nice. The patio was beautiful with a nearby splash pad for families to enjoy. Here's what I tried: I can't remember the first drink I had, but I do remember it had prickly pear & lots of tequila. 124 DEGREES - $10 I enjoyed this drink more than the first. Would drink again! BUFFALO CHICKEN RANGOON - $11.99*Shredded Buffalo chicken + cream cheese + buffalo sauce + ranchThese were super crunchy & came out piping hot. Lots of good flavors. Several other appetizers sounded good as well. BLACKENED MAHI MAHI - $22.99*Cast iron blackened mahi mahi + mango salsa + Yukon gold mashers + grilled Parmesan asparagus The mango salsa brought a refreshing bite to the blackened fish & the asparagus & potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. HOT FRIED CHICKEN + WAFFLES - $16.99*Fried buttermilk dipped tenderloins + Belgian waffle + Louisiana hot sauce + wildflower hot honey drizzle + undecided friesReally liked the breading on the chicken & the contrast of sweet & spicy with the hot sauce & honey.All in all, we enjoyed everything we tried & would come back to check the place out again!

Big thank you to the bartender at Proof 124 Table and Tavern for putting on the Penn State game for us while we sat at the bar--really appreciated that! They have plenty of drinks on tap, all served ice-cold and refreshing. I went with the Roast Beef sliders, and let me tell you, they're hands down the best I've ever had in any restaurant. The sliders were packed with flavor, and the roast beef was incredibly tender, melting right in my mouth with every bite. Highly recommend these to anyone stopping in! I'll definitely be back for more.

Food and atmosphere are great. Service was good as well. Some interesting choices on the menu. Great beer list.

Finally made it here after trying several times. It's a great neighborhood place with very yummy food. I took my friend here for her birthday and our waitress was a sweetheart. We had a great lunch with great food

The service was great. The restaurant was open air. It was about 85 degrees but the fans kept us cool enough. The outside chairs were comfortable. The food was even better. We had just come from the Spartan race our group of six was starving. The soft pretzel with cheese was delicious. We ordered their undecided fries and we devoured them along with the homemade ranch. I hade the coconut shrimp basket it was great.Everyone else had a cheeseburger. We will make our way back to this place.

Blake's hard cider on draft was delicious and the pot roast sliders, suggested by our server, were incredibly good. I ordered the tacos, which were mediocre. We enjoyed the giant pretzel with cheese and mustard sauces that paired perfect. The outdoor environment was spectacular! Angela, our server made the entire experience a 5 star, hands down! She was attentive to our needs, maintained fun and professional table-side manner. The only "complaint" * (and not even sure if they can do anything about it: there were many birds who got close quite often to us and because there were so many, their collective chirping was loud, especially for my dad who has hearing aids.

Another new to me but not new location! I tried to make myself branch out a little and got the meatloaf meatballs with red wine gravy, which comes on top of mashed potatoes with a side of green beans. I don't always eat meatloaf at restaurants because I like it pretty basic and you never know what they'll throw in there. However these meatloaf meatballs were great and along with the green beans tasted like something your mom would cook for you at home!! (In a good way) I'm not a drinker so the gravy was almost too much for me because it had the red wine flavor for sure but I definitely still enjoyed it and ate until I was full. We also tried the soft pretzel appetizer which was giant and perfectly made. I preferred the cheese dipping sauce that came with it. My mom and I even tried the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and that was good as well while not being super sweet. The location is cool in an old fire station and our server was very attentive! All around a nice place to check out.

Came to town for snow tubing and gambling but found this perfect gem. Walkable from Hollywood Casino. It was crowded but we were seated in 20 minutes even with a party going on. The food was delicious. Not your normal tavern food, some love and culinary school was put into this. We had 2 entrees, 2 beers, and 2 dessert drinks for under $100 with tip.
