Port Hole Inn

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the live music adds a great vibe to the place. After a day on Lake Lemon, it's the perfect spot to dock the boat and either enjoy a meal inside or grab some carryout. Their pizzas are fantastic, but the ribs are truly my favorite. It's definitely one of the best spots around!

Dive bar near our house that we love going to. The BLTs are amazing. My absolute favorite food there. Their drinks are great and the food is really good. Good music, great location around Lake Lemon. Great servers. I go about every week.

This place is a local JEM! Locally owned ,.. fresh food prepared when it's ordered,.. (there is not one microwave on the property ) cold beer and amazing cocktails ! Newly remodeled by the new owners ,... if your in the area or in the lake for the day don't miss out ,... and awesome live music on the weekends

Wow! Went on Father's Day! New owners influence definitely shows!! Got the Bavarian Pretzel (must try this) and I had the Ribeye and my husband had the BBQ Ribs! All were delicious!! The star of the show;however, was their Strawberry Shortcake! Best I've ever had. Great place to drink and dine! Staff was fantastic!!!

Inconsistent food and service. Don't bother ordering carry out because no one answers the phone.

Nice local bar and restaurant in Unionville Indiana. The location, close to Lake Lemon, is pretty although there is no actual access or outside seating to appreciate the lake. Despite being busy and understaffed the day we visited, the waitress was cheerful. Kudos to the only cook who managed to serve the food hot, delicious and quickly. I hope the owner pays this woman her weight in gold. Portholes is located on a twisty, bendy road, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, so not the kind of place you want to run out of gas or have one too many drinks.

We just moved to the area a few months ago and finally got to try the porthole in for dinner. Our server Rissa was fantastic, she had good recommendations and we will definitely be back... don't pass up the mushrooms, hush puppies, or catfish... They are worth it!

We had dinner for our last night in town for my bachelor party. A patron at the table next to us yelled at my brother because he ''Looked'' at her. My other brother defended him and was kicked out. The waitress harassed to pay the bill and get out at the same time. She was terribly unprofessional and caused a scene in front of children. She followed us out and got in our faces saying '' What are you going to do''. The bill was $239.23. This was a hefty price to pay after our dinner and last night in town was ruined.

Upon arrival with my wife and 2 kids, we were pointed to the seating area rather than being seated. We sat at a dirty table for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Another 10 minutes later our table was wiped and drink order taken. 20 minutes after that we got our drinks. We were told the drinks took so long because "they ran out of cups". We put our food order in. After about 30 minutes, a couple sat at the table next to us. They got their food after about 15 minutes (2 items were exactly what we ordered). We asked where our food was and they said it was about to be plated. 15 minutes later we asked again, where is our food? Then, what we assume was a manager came to our table and said "don't worry, your meal will be comp'd". 10 minutes later they asked if we wanted a pizza to take home. We politely said, no thanks, we just want what we ordered. After waiting another 10 minutes, we walked out. My 9 and 5 year old had to eat Wendy's at 10:30pm because of the incompetence of the staff. I used to go here all the time as a kid and thought it would be fun to take my kids. I will never go here again.

Great atmosphere! We don't know people there but always feel welcomed! My son likes the pizza however it is not served all day, every day, some days it is only after 5 pm. Time it right as it is delicious! We enjoy taking people there to eat , listen to the band, relax!
