Poelking did a great job catering a family function at a reasonable price. It was held in a private room on the side with its own bowling lanes. A bartender was provided to take drink orders. The catered food was descent out of the salad, pizza, and chicken tenders. All the guest had a blast, especially when the bowling got very competitive.

Not too crowded at this time of day. The staff are nice and knowledgeable. This is our first time here and we will be back.

I've been bowling on a traveling league since I was in high school. I remember that this place was one of the best in the Dayton area in the 90's. I recently stopped in for some bowling with my family and was shocked to see they really haven't updated anything since then. The food wasn't that great and the lanes we got kept breaking down. Unless the update this place soon, I would find another alley if you want something more than cosmic bowling.

Poelking is so much fun to take the kids to do some bowling. Weekday prices are reasonable and the staff are kind and helpful.

The only reason I gave even two stars is that the staff in the bowling area were very helpful and accommodating. The food and bar were awful. The staff were rude and unprofessional. The area where the food was cooked was filthy. Signs posted everywhere stating beer and food prices were inaccurate because the craft beers were more than posted on the signs or the menus. The menu was inaccurate because "the prices are being changed".Which means we can charge you whatever we want even though there are signs, and menus with prices already on them. I get that things change, I get that food prices go up. But until you change your menu and the signs everywhere stating your prices don't try to charge two or three or four more dollars.I paid more than $20 for a pizza that was undercooked and improperly sliced. And just plain not good. My friends got nachos that were extremely stale. The fries order were portioned very small. It also took a very, very long time to order even if there was only one person in front of you. It took at least 10 or 15 minutes every time to get a beer and our bowling was timed so people in our group lost a large amount of time at the concession/food area just waiting. It was a hassle. So overall our experience was lessened by dealing with the staff in the food area and in the bar.

Oddly, a fun place to go to lunch and bowl a couple of games. They offer daily lunch specials and the best part... you can get a hot dog as a side with your hamburger! 'Murica!

no rating. this place is awful and i'd suggest not to come. you can never get in, the staff doesn't know what is going on, and it is more expensive than other alleys around. there is no point of coming here and wasting your time. it's a dump.

Came to this establishment to have a fun time with my family. Paid for two lanes and one was broken, we advised staff and was brought over a score card to keep score manually. We advised staff that we would like to move to a different lane and that was done without a problem. We paid for a bunch of snacks over 100 dollars and Decided to have a drink I am from out of town and have a New York State ID and I'm well over 21 and was refused service due to not having a in state driver license and not having a drivers license. I believe I was racially profiled and this is disgusting. I would not recommend going here. Unfortunately staff was very nice but one bad apple does spoil the bunch ( and that would be the lady behind the bar)
