For early in the season, still winter rates, the greens and tee boxes were in good shape.Played 18 on a Wednesday, not a lot of folks out and temperatures hovering around 45 degrees. Gentlemen in the pro shop was very nice and friendly. Stopped at the turn and got refreshments, gentleman there was friendly, too. So, not sure what a couple of the earlier reviews were about. Definitely will give it another shot as warmer weather hits. But for now, nice course, nice folks.

Great middle of the road course. You're not going to find upscale and fancy here at Pleasant Hill Golf Course. What you will find though, is a solid and easy to manage Golf Club. Covers all the basics, for sure. There's a very small driving range just at the front before you get to the main parking lot. Quite nondescript so you can easily drive right past it, if nobody is there. No mats, just playing straight off the grass with a cash-only ball dispenser. Ones, fives and tens only. No cash, no balls! The course itself is very well maintained. There's a few rough spots here and there and some places that the path can use some work. Carts are on a little bit older side. I will give it this though, the staff is excellent. Run by a few Brothers, I found all of these gentlemen to be nothing less than just that, pure gentleman. Always accommodating and attentive and ready to help whenever they can. The rest of the staff that I've met throughout the course, during my visits, have always been great.Overall, like I said, nothing fancy. This place is a good basic 18-hole course. Would I go back? Definitely. It's about 5 minutes from my house, and I've not had a bad time yet, aside from days where I'm playing like absolute crap! But I can't blame that on anybody else, but me. Whether you're playing with a group or playing by yourself, it's a pretty easy course to navigate and a welcomed way to spend the day out of the office.

Terrible service I went with my son who is 12 and when I went to pay there was no junior rate. Which would've been fine if the course was in good condition but there were maybe 2 ball cleaners on the entire course and not a single drink station. Along with that the fairways had huge dead patches and there was thick grass in the middle of the fairways and on the tee boxes. We also had tee times for 7:52am and we showed up at 7:48 to pay in the clubhouse and he told us we were late repeatedly. I have never seen a crankier more rude owner in my 30 years of playing golf. It's not worth the 27$ for 9 holes especially not when it doesn't even seem like the guy running the place wants you to play. If you don't mind a course with some rough spots and if you can stand putting up with awful service then try pleasant out. But my experience was anything hit pleasant.

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Worth every penny. Played here 3 times in the past 2 1/2 months and will continue to enjoy playing a well maintained, well paced, challenging golf course going forward.

Terrible customer service. The old man working the front counter is very rude!! I showed up just to pick my son up from a high school golf match. I walked in to use the restroom and the gentleman told me that I wasn't welcome on his premises out of dress code.(I was wearing a sporty cotton dress that was about 1/2" above my knees, very modest!) When I informed him that I wasn't there to play golf and I just needed to pick my son up he told me that the dress code applied to the entire premises.Terrible customer service. The owner at the front desk always says to hurry up and that the group you are following is way ahead even though they really aren't. Also, the greens on each tee either go super slow or super fast and they water and mow them on Monday and Tuesday so if you play on the weekends it is super dry. Also, the prices on the weekend with a golf cart is super overpriced compared to other golf courses around. If you feel like going here, be prepared to have a rude person at the front desk.

The front desk man was very rude and unpleasant. Expensive for the maintenance of the course. The front desk man also asked the group of guys I was golfing with "who claimed me." I claim myself.

Do Not Waste your time or money! Worst course I have ever played. Nothing but dandelions everywhere. Looks like they don't own a lawn mower or have ever sprayed weed killer. Lost balls for everyone in my group and every group played slow to find their lost golf balls. No stock in the pro-shop and no signs of any maintenance, sure looks to be closing soon. Don't go there to play! Let them go out of business so someone else can take over and save the place.I'd give the course negative stars if possible!
