Pettibone Coffee

Great coffee and pastries. Latte was amazing. Nice staff and a beautiful building. Really spotless and lots of light and seating. They sell coffee beans and other items for coffee brewing. Highly recommend.

This time I noticed that the high bar style table along the wall has regular spaced electrical outlets. Lots of people were working on laptops plugged in. I got the avocado toast which had pickled onions on it. It was an interesting take, also the egg.The Jasmine green tea is very mild. It smells wonderful, just like fresh flowers. I'm glad I got some things other than coffee. The coffee is excellent too though btw

Hands down some of the best coffee in Dayton Ohio and the aesthetic is just chefs kiss they also have the mist delicious Swiss water processed decaf which is a must

My friend brought up Pettibone while I was passing through & I am glad she did. What a cute place! A lot of seating, nicely decorated, and clean. Service was good where you order at the counter and though I thought it was pretty busy our order came out promptly! A few good options to choose from and some nice looking baked good. I loved that the food arrived near and made well! My simple Sammy was just what I needed. Definitely worth trying out.

This is the best coffee shop in the area! I enjoy coming ever over and over again. The staff at this coffee shop are kind and do not have that "cool rude" vibe you can find at other places. The signature lattes are what keeps me coming back! Our children enjoy coming here for the baked goods. Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious!

A must see when visiting Dayton!! Open space with lots of natural light and seating options. Free parking lot. Yummy eats and drinks. Quick service too :)

Creative latte menu and good flavor. I'm not so sure if they are price worthy though. The bariatas kept splashing customers with the glass rinser. It happened right next to me twice while I was sitting in there. The first time, there was no apology. The second time, the barista apologized only because everyone looked at that person. I did not get splashed, but folks at other tables did. Recommend not sitting next to the bar.

Not sure why it's taken me this long to write a review for my favorite coffee shop. Pettibone is very spacious, although it is almost always full. I like that they are open later than most coffee places and offer to-go, as well as, ordering for pick up ahead of time. Their prices aren't too high, but honestly I don't mind spending a little more for their great coffee! They have a nice selection of unique breakfast and lunch options -- the kitchen closes at 2 or 3pm, so be mindful of that. Definitely go in the morning if you want a wide selection of pastries. They don't sell out as fast as some smaller coffee shops or bakeries do; I think they gauge how much to bake a day pretty well. If they have seasonal drinks get it before it's gone! They are exceptional drinks. Never too sweet, but with plenty of flavor and it never overpowers the flavor of the coffee (imo). When I want a non-seasonal coffee, I'll get the whiskey caramel latte. Even my husband likes it and that's saying a lot! Always friendly service and they work very efficiently. 10/10 recommend.(Also, noticed some other review said to be more like Starbucks, but don't know if they've really ever been to a fast-serving Starbucks. They are 9.5/10 times super slow.) When you're ordering from a local, small business coffee shop, you're going to get quality and sometimes that takes a little time.

I'm an avid coffee connoisseur, so PLEASE heed my advice here!! This is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. Their espresso roast is so delicate and consistent, the homemade syrups and milk texture is spot on, and the seasonal mixed drinks - especially their lavender espresso blend - made my jaw drop. It's the only coffee shop to ever score above a 9.0 for me in terms of coffee quality, and this doesn't even TOUCH the food!! There's not a thing from this bakery, food menu, pour over, or espresso menu that will disappoint you. If you like sugary drinks, don't come here. But if you value high-quality espresso, I would drive across state lines JUST to get some coffee here. No joke. Great spot to do work too. Near perfect coffee shop

Terrific pastries (made there), terrific breakfast sandwiches, and the best Latte's I've ever had. They toast their own beans and have the best Cinnamon Roll I've had (always fresh).
