Penn Sta East Coast Subs

Food was hot, tasty and we all ate it up! I forgot to buy their yummy fries! Wah Will order again!

I know that some of you Penn Station lovers are going to want to throw plastic silverware and wadded up napkins at me for this one, but I honestly just don't like Penn Station at all. I think the food is incredibly bland, and it's not worth the price for what you get either. I have tried it a couple of times, different orders with the same results. Bland, bland and even more bland this time as I tried the veggie option. Yuck. I will never go back to this location or any others. But, if you are a lover of this place, this one is a good one. Very clean, quick service and the staff were friendly.

NOT VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY!!!!!I visited location #111 and noticed the grill was spotless clean this evening. I am a vegetarian & ordered the grilled veggie sub. The young lady informed the cook that because no other customer was in the store & because the grill was so clean I would like to order the veggie sub & would appreciate it if it could be prepared before another customer comes in & orders a meat sandwich so my veggie sub would avoid cross contamination.The male cook gave her a dirty look & took his time before he began to prepare my veggies. He very slowly placed my veggies on the grill but when another customer walked in & ordered a chicken sub, he "immediately" put chicken on the grill right next to my veggies & began chopping the chicken & my veggies using the same utensils.He purposely prepared the chicken & veggies right next to each other knowing I had requested him not to.I informed him (very nicely) that I was vegetarian & would not be able to eat the veggies that he just contaminated with the chicken because of my religious beliefs.He very rudely snapped at me in a NASTY tone: " well I am not gonna stop my preparations just for you"...He had no reason to speak to me in such a nasty tone & with such a bad attitude! I did or said nothing to make him react this way!!!I have eaten at this location many times before but usually just order the fries. I will be sure to let the local vegetarian group that I am a part of know that this location is "NOT VEGETARIAN" friendly...

Great place to go if you want more than a cold sub! This staff has it together and no matter how busy food comes to you fast! Chicken teriyaki is best!

I love this place! I go here for the cheesesteak (They use choice steak, the same kinda meat you can get at a steakhouse), and it's delicious. I also love their custom sandwiches. I usually get a corned beef with provolone,lettuce,tomato,mayo & pickle on white. It's so good. My old buddy James works here & him & his staff are so friendly. I'm friends with them all they ask how I'm doing in culinary school, and I love this place. Come here for the cheesesteak, stay for the hospitality!

Terrible phone service... I usually like putting in orders over the phone when it comes to eating at places like this, especially one station... but this one just doesn't answer or pick up the phone.

I love Penn Station. They have the best hot subs on the market, hands down. However, this visit was pretty rough. We came in a solid hour and a half before close and the staff acted like they were really put out by us. Our order was not input correctly, our fries were ice cold, and our wraps were cold and poorly constructed. The night crew here really dropped the ball.

The French fries were undercooked. I talked to the cashier about it and she argued that they were cooked to 220 degrees. I choose Penn Station for the pleasing brownness of their fries- and they aren't cheap. I usually don't care about mediocre fries, but I expect more from Penn Station. Also, I haven't eaten in this store for awhile, and it was filthy. The restroom door was greasy and someone had scratched through the coating of grease. The floor was sticky. There was what looked like mold on the cover of the lemonade machine. Ick! I used to eat here all the time, but I won't be back. Do yourself a favor and choose a different location.

One of the better penn stations. We eat there maybe one very other month when our paycheck is a bit voluptuous. Food is excellent, hot and would make our tongue smacking in the face for more.
