Penn’s Thai Grille

I love Thai food, and Penn's Thai Grille makes some of the best around. I always order a chicken pad thai when trying a place for the first time. The website touts both lunch and dinner portions, and I ordered it for take out on a Sunday for lunch, however was charged the dinner price. That said, I'm pretty sure the portion was definitely the dinner size, as it was enough for two meals. But if you want a specific size, you should probably clarify.They offer spice levels 1-5. I tried level 2 and couldn't really notice anything spicy (which I wasn't too upset about). But the pad thai was absolutely delicious -- sweet and savory. It had been a while since I've had a pad thai that good. I will definitely order from Penn's again.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the plum wine was a delightful complement! Nestled in a strip mall, this charming little restaurant is easily overlooked, yet it offers a warm welcome that makes you feel right at home, especially during my brief work trip back to my hometown. As a medical worker, I rarely get time off, but I was excited for a night out. My colleague, who initially planned just to enjoy drinks, ended up diving into the menu and ordered the tofu pad see ew and the vegetable pad with a spicy sauce. In our eagerness to satisfy our hunger, we unfortunately forgot to snap any photos before digging in! I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this gem of a place--the service was exceptional, and the staff provided us with fantastic suggestions on what to try. We wholeheartedly took their advice, and it was worth it. The restaurant may be small, but it exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially pleasant on a chilly day in Ohio.

Penn Thai GrilleWe were fortunate to receive an unexpected visit yesterday from our two friends from Nepal. Both are residents of Springfield, and she works in R & D with Honda. Both are vegan, and for many years my wife has "delighted" in preparing vegan dinners.It seemed to me that Thai would be a Neat solution.We are familiar with several nearby Thai restaurants, and for this occasion, we ordered take away for the two hour dining experience in our home.We selected Penn Thai Grille; I do not care for the dining area in this restaurant; minimal ambience, and excellent service. Located in Bellbrrok in small strip mall.It was a simple matter for us to order four dinners. They specified Red Curry and Drunken Man; we both specified Drunken Woman. The difference is the noodles; no alcohol is present in preparation.I greatly enjoy a phone in order; however, we ordered on-line. Please allow 15 minutes for preparation. Always abundant parking.Great dining, company, and conversation.

Best Thai around. Will be back. Small place. Totally adds to the atmosphere laid back and nice staff. Food is amazing.

Nice atmosphere, love the music cause it was super aged loved it. Wait staff very attentive ( we were the only ones there). Food: plentiful. Nicely plated, however it was salty salty salty. Ruined the whole meal. If it had not been salty it would have been on point. My companions food was good to her. Food does come out quickly which was very nice.

We eat here every single time we are hungry for Thai food; it is the best and most consistent in the area. The Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are delicious. The egg rolls and rangoon are also favorites. We have had several different servers and they are all nice and pleasant.

Enjoying a Happy Birthday dinner with wifey at one of our fave spots. Appetizers were amazing, hot and very delicious. I had Paragon shrimp and she had Hawaiian fried rice w shrimp and chicken. Food was blazing hot and full of flavor.

Very nice place for lunch or dinner. The service is great and the food is always good. We have dined in and stopped for takeout on several occasions. The Penang Curry is my favorite.

Every time we eat here we wonder why we ever go anywhere else! The food is always amazing, consistently pleasant and efficient service. The atmosphere is calming and comfortable. Run, don't walk, just get here! You will not be disappointed!

Delicious and well cooked variety of dishes. The eggs rolls are not too greasy and tastes the best in town.
