Pasquale's Newport

Came here because I had heard good things about the steak hoagies & pepper pod was closed . . The mushroom steak hoagy tasted good & my mom enjoyed her pizza. I got the stuffed shells with meat sauce - basically pizza sauce with italian sausage added but it was good , the shells filled with cheese were huge. Great portion for price ! - it came with garlic bread. The staff also seemed nice enough!

Pizza tastes list a poor quality frozen pizza...I had to toss it in the garbage. Fries were ok.

Best hoagies ever!!!!! Love this place forever!!!!! Been eating here since the 70s....pizza great hoagies perfect and love the cheese sticks!!!

They are so fast and very good. Love the sauce. Ordered a mushroom pie and fried mushrooms. Just order from them already... Worth it.

Loved my Stromboli. Exactly what I had in mind and have missed for so many years. Fries were kinda blah.

Great pizza and sandwiches, especially the Stromboli Steak sandwich-- I would've called this a dago sandwich. The two men working were very friendly and helpful and one clued me in to the history of mob activity in Newport. Dinner for 5 with appetizer and drinks was $42-- a very good deal. We stopped at about 9pm and had the place to ourselves. I recently told someone how great Pasquale's is. Last night, after a lifetime of bring a patron, I have to move along...maybe Papa John's. My grandson went in to pick up our order while my son circled the block...our pizzas (2) were so under done the cheese ran off into the box on both of them. We also had a spaghetti and meatballs order and that was barely warm. Never had such a bad result there! And for almost $50.00! AND, no receipt was taped to any of the boxes!

I ordered pickup. A steak hoagie with no onions/pickles and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks for some reason came with cocktail sauce and the hoagie came with onions and pickles. Called and let them know. Owners response was you can either come back here now at 11:45 PM or else forget about it that he doesn't give credits. I will not and suggest you do not give this owner a single penny! Worst owner interaction in my life!

My husband grew up with Pasquale's and was dying to get me to try it. So we were finally in Newport and we met up with my sister-in-law for lunch so I'd finally get to try it. We ordered a hoagy for each of us and got a large pizza with 5 toppings. The hoagy was pretty good. No complaint with the hoagies. However, I was NOT impressed with the pizza. I paid for five toppings and was extremely disappointed at how SKIMPY the toppings were on it. I mean literally only TWO olives were on the entire large pizza!! I paid 50 for this meal. Very disappointed.
