I chose pastries based on appearance because not everything had a name and description. So unsure what most of these are. Yummy:)

This is such a cute Mexican bakery & they take Google and apple pay which is a plus. They have 2 bakery cases full of pastries and breads which are all self-serve. There's 2 coolers with more desserts and some Mexican juices and sodas. There's also some dry stock in there as well. The gentleman working was nice and the place is small and welcoming you can also smell everything from the outside of the store ! I got a pineapple empanada which was delicious and an orange citrus pastry that was delicious! All of this and an apple soda for $5.50 you can't beat that at all in this economy!

This place had a fantastic selection of new to me pastries to try. But, my favorite item. I did not get a photo of. Oops! They had the most fantastic Tres leches cake by the slice. I will be stopping in on a regular basis to get more. Some of the pastries were not as sweet as I was expecting, but still had a really good flavor and texture. I also love the price that I paid for five items compared to a lot of other shops that are so overpriced.

I loved walking into this delightful Mexican bakery and seeing the self-serve glass cases of so many kinds of Mexican pastries!! Each option was enormous and such a work of art! I bought 2- 3 and with the good salesmanship of the cashier ;), I also purchased a Mexican tamale! Note: upon tasting the pastries, I had to adjust my mindset from American dense, sweet, rich flavors to a more light, spongy, mild sweetness with more citrus flavor.

As regular patrons of the Indian Mouund Cafe, just down the street, we regularly visit Panaderia El Trigal. Even though we almost always visit at the end of the day, the pastries are fresh and flavorful. My wife and I both love the empanadas de pina, the tres leches cake, and the creme horns. If we're lucky, they have some tamal de cerdo (pork tomales) left and we've got a tasty lunch or dinner ahead later in the week. If you're in Norwood, stop by. It's worth it.

Delicious! Ordered 2 Dozen pastries for an office breakfast in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. Everything was fresh, tasty and a huge crowd pleaser overall. The service was awesome. I dropped in a few days before to put an order in and everyone was so nice.
