Wowza!! Great food, great small house vibe for a small town, just authentic Italian.. for Ohio at least. Like my nana used to make. Looks just like her house too.. you guys didn't take it off the original grounds and move it to Oxford did ya?????

I'd love to eat here sometime. When we have tried to do so, we have always been (eventually) met by waitstaff that is clearly overworked and shorthanded. No one can seem to give us a seating time/wait. While I suppose it is my loss (given others' reviews), I am also sure it is your loss to have us walk out and go somewhere else

Have gotten takeout from here twice and dined in once. Cute and cozy little place! Staff is very friendly. I have tried the soup, salad, cheesecake, and chicken marsala. Everything was very good! Not the best Italian I have had but still really enjoyed my meal! Prices however were quite high for the portion I received, so this is a place I would probably only go to once in a while. I appreciate how there is a gluten free pasta option as well and I am hoping to try it in the future!

A very decent place to have a nice Italian meal in Oxford, Ohio. It's a big menu (which always makes me suspicious when the restaurant is billed as a higher end meal) but everyone enjoyed their meal, including me. I had the lobster risotto - nice big helping of creamy risotto with more lobster than I thought would be in it. It was good and I ate it all with gusto. Prices were fair, service was very good, ambience is cozy and noisy but hey that means that other people like the food too, right??

The bread was good, salad was good, House Sangria good, service pretty good and the pasta was not good at all. My wife had spaghetti bolognese, sauce was runny and had chunks of sausage and carrots. I had the fettuccine carbonara, it was like a soup with noodles, peas and diced pancetta. We didn't complain but wow! We have been 5 other times and have enjoyed this place. Sadly we won't be back! Might need to change the name from a pasta house.

We didn't even get through the door. I opened the front door and some man holding a phone said "did you call ahead". I said no we didn't. He then says "No, nothing until after 8". Physically blocked the entrance to the restaurant. I've never experienced anything like that. No I do not recommend. I would give a zero if I could.

Divine dining experience. When I stepped into the intimate little dining room it was like stepping through space and time back to Little Italy in New York in better days. The aroma of Italian cooking, the bustling staff setting black tablecloth/white butcher paper tables, the soft romantic Italian music, rustic woodwork, sconces, little oil lamps twinkling, old time family photos, and a welcome sign in Italian- it all came together for an amazing ambiance. Our waiter was Mason--James Mason, and he was a gem. Well dressed, smiling, soft spoken and perfect level of attentive. He had the specials memorized and committed our orders to memory too. I love that, so classy. Fresh baked legit Italian bread to start you off with lightly seasoned olive oil. We had the roasted garlic app which was delightful, slipped right out of the peel, so soft and creamy and was perfect spread on delicate little crostini. Highly recommended. Cross your fingers that they don't run out.I had Veal Piccata which was a generous portion of thin tender veal with a lovely light saucing and plenty of capers, over linguine. My husband went for the Veal Marsala and opted to sub linguine for the risotto. It was delicious though I think it would have been even better with the risotto. But he was happy. We both chose Caesar instead of house salad with the meal. There is a $2 upcharge for that. They can add anchovies if desired! This adds another $1.50 but who cares. Been so long since I had a Caesar with anchovies. I was beside myself with happiness. The housemade dressing was excellent. I had a perfect Negroni and he was happy that IPAs were available. It was very tempting but we passed on dessert- this time. The pace of the meal was just right. This may be THE BEST Italian restaurant to be found in Western Ohio, and believe me I've been on a mission to find it. Best I've found so far. Easily in the top three of all restaurants in my extended dining zone.Note they open at 5 PM and close at 9, five days a week, no reservations taken but you can call ahead same day. We got in at 5 sharp but I'd gladly wait. Loved every minute of it and will definitely return. Ciaio bella!

The gem that we took way too long to try out in Oxford. We got there right as they opened and the staff was friendly and welcoming and we got seated immediately. the restaurant is homey and cozy. Then came the food....the check bread with red sauce was outstanding, then the Chicken Parmigiana was so good. And to end it with tiramisu that was out of this world! I cannot it took 3 years to get here. I am so upset with myself for waiting so long.

We stopped by for an early dinner (5pm) before a meeting on a week day and grabbed a table immediately. Started off with calamari and the bread with oil. Enjoyed the bread, we finished the basket for sure. I ordered a make your own pasta of fettuccini noodles with rose sauce and squid. Delicious and enough for 2 servings, so I had lunch for the next day! The sauce was amazing and my friend had the fettuccini alfredo and she really enjoyed it. I usually don't stay after work to be able to grab dinner here, but when I have to, I plan to make it a priority to eat here!

My bro Jack and his bro Jack went here just now and the waiter was really nice, gave them bellpepper soup! He gave a to go box that they forgot to grab at the table. The waiter ran out in the cold weather and in rain wearing a t shirt just to give the box to them!
