I want to plug Our Harvest Cooperative because they've been essential to my sanity during this quarantine and pandemic. Since I've been trying to limit trips out of the home, I've found that its fresh vegetables I run out of most quickly. So getting a weekly box has been perfect. I also ordered a month's supply of frozen meat and it's a huge amount, with beef, pork, and chicken.I actually started using Our Harvest Cooperative maybe 3 years ago but stopped for a time because pick up wasn't fitting in my schedule. I'm really glad to be back at it. The vegetables are always fresh, with a thoughtful variety too - rotating zucchini and tomatoes right now so we don't get bored of just one thing. They also give us basil, chives, parsley, so that also helps with recipes and staying out of the store.Lastly, I wanted to give a shout out to the staff and volunteers with Our Harvest - one more than one occasion they've reached out to me to make something more convenient for me if there was a hiccup. I have also visited the farm and I was given a tour and felt like they were excited I was there, rather than a nuisance. I definitely recommend this community supported agriculture, or CSA organization.

Absolutely impeccable service! Amy and everybody over there at the Co-op are just incredible. Extremely hands on and personal. Feels like you're picking up produce from your neighbor! Eat fresh & but local!

Delicious, fresh produce and friendly, helpful staff. Love them! Remember to wear a mask when picking up your produce to keep the staff safe. Loved the eggs add-on option! Amazing lettuce.

I love fresh vegetables! I love supporting my local community! I love feeling good about what I'm putting into my body! Our Harvest Cooperative provides all that and more! Watermelons, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, bok choy, arugula, kohlrabi, cabbage, kale, spinach, chard, parsley, cilantro, basil, mint, zucchini, onions, garlic, beets, radishes, leeks, rutabagas, eggplants, peppers, summer squash, butternut squash, acorn squash, carrots, collard greens, turnips, mushrooms, microgreens, black beans, pinto beans, bread, and eggs are all examples of items I have received in my weekly Harvest Box.I have been a member of the Harvest Box program from Our Harvest since the very first year they started. This is similar to participating in a CSA (community supported agriculture) program but instead of having to purchase a share at the beginning of the year payments can be made weekly. There are, however, discounts available for paying for part of or the entire season at one time. The Harvest Box comes in three different sizes and is filled with a variety of vegetables and some fruits from Our Harvest's own farm and from other partner farms. There is also the option to purchase additional items that will be included in the delivery of the box. These add-ons as they are called are usually produced by a local vendor that Our Harvest partners with but some are even produced by Our Harvest themselves. Add-ons can include dried beans, eggs, meat, honey, cheese, pasta, bread, coffee, soup, pasta sauce, etc. The Harvest Box season lasts from spring to fall and in the winter there is the option to participate in the winter box which only comes in the small size. Boxes are delivered to many pick-up locations around the city so it's easy to find a location that's not too far away. During the spring to fall season I receive a medium size box for my wife and I for $20 per week. This provides us with plenty of vegetables and a nice variety that changes with the season. We also always participate in the small winter box for $12 per week allowing us to have fresh local vegetables year round. We also currently order two add-ons which consist of a one pound bag of dry beans for $3.75 delivered once a month and dozen eggs for $5.50 delivered every other week. In the past I have also ordered bread but they aren't currently partnered with a bread vendor.I have been very happy with what have received over the years. Having watched as Our Harvest has grown and increased the amount of items offered has been satisfying knowing that I am taking part in something that directly impacts my community. I receive local and healthy food and at the same time support multiple local farms and businesses. There are opportunities to visit the farm and take part in volunteer days allowing you to see exactly where your food comes from. The food from Our Harvest tastes better and makes you feel better.

I really like Our Harvest Cooperative for many reasons. I love getting fresh, local, organic produce and veggies. They have a great CSA with a lot of flexibility and very convenient places to pick up with great hours for varying schedules. I like that they work with other groups so that the one can get organic and natural meat, freshly canned (in jars) products of local ingredients, cheese, eggs, and many other items. I am pleased that they are a cooperative, pay the workers fairly with good benefits, and teach those who are interested in learning how to be an organic farmer.
