On food alone, this place deserves four stars. The pulled pork and chicken were moist, with sweet smokiness that was just right, not "in your face." My husband and I both got the spicy sauce, which had a slowly evolving sweet heat; you could see red pepper flake in it. My son enjoyed the mild sauce, which he has declared "amazing." We had mac n cheese and collard greens for our sides. While the mac n cheese was good, I am one of those oddballs who doesn't like Velveeta in hers, so I'd have preferred a slightly different recipe. The collards, however, were delicious, with a spicy acidity that tasted like pepper vinegar. I could have eaten an entire bowl full of just the greens. I ate my chicken sandwich with a fork, because the bun quickly soaked through. It was really tasty. Our only issues had to do with the restaurant itself. First, it was unreasonably hot in the dining room, so I can only imagine it is sheer Hell in the kitchen. Though there were fans running along the floor, you couldn't pay me enough to work in that sauna. Nevertheless, our service was helpful, friendly, fast, and courteous, and both ladies behind the counter were extremely polite and professional. I'd love it if management could make sure they had a comfortable place to work when it's hot outside. Though the ladies' restroom was clean, my husband said the men's room had some toilet paper in the floor and could have stood a good, thorough cleaning. Lastly, though we were there during lunch (approximately 12:30) on a Saturday, they had already run out of their sausage, which indicates a potential problem in managing inventory and/or anticipating demand. At lunch time, you shouldn't be running low on anything. Also, despite signage that indicated the restaurant offers tea, none was available at the time of our visit. The food quality alone will bring me back (especially since you do online orders and catering), but dining in just wasn't the best part of the experience today. Hopefully, with some minor adjustments, that will improve. You've got hardworking, courteous staff, so try not to melt them.

I was in the Dayton area for work last week and one of my co-workers suggested going to here for dinner. I think their comment was " Even if the food isn't good , how often to you get to eat at a place called "OinkADoodleMoo"." I was glad that the food was just as awesome as the name! The staff were very helpful and I ended up ordering the OinkADoodleMoo Sammich combo. For this combo you get 3 small sandwiches or Sammiches as they are called. For the meat I choose burnt ends, pulled chicken, and pulled pork. All of the meat was juicy and just the right temperature. The only con I had was the meat had little or no smoke flavor. Overall the food was great. I would go back if I'm back in the Dayton area.

I have to admit, I was a little reluctant to try here because of the middling star ratings. But I was very pleasantly surprised. 2 ladies helped me out and were very friendly. I had the pulled pork and brisket plus collards greens. EVERYTHING was really good and I have been to ALOT of barbecue places. I especially loved the NC Style Barbecue sauce (vinegar based). It's my absolute favorite and I'm super excited to find a place that had it! I will absolutely be back!

Stopped in here recently based on the review that's posted. This place is sort of like the fast food version of BBQ. Everything seems to be pre cooked, so when you order its ready to serve. I had a simple meal of a pulled pork sandwich and mac & cheese. The sandwich was ok, but the meat itself didn't have a ton of flavor. I had to eat it with a fork because it was soaked in sauce, which tasted ok. The mac & cheese was fair. Lots of styrofoam used, but they don't recycle, so they're generating a lot of trash that doesn't have to be trash. I don't plan on going back. There are too many other options to check out.

Most rude people I have ever encountered. The lady behind counter yelled at my little boy because there was no water available and he accidentally poured root beer in his cup. Then she came over and demanded money from me. He didn't even want the Rootbeer it was a mistake, which I told her. Then she was even more rude and said we must wait on her to bring us water. Have never quite experienced someone working at a restaurant to be so rude. We have been long time customers and will never be back.

Stopped in for a hot minute. Picked up some brisket tips and pulled pork. The tips are soaked in a sweet sauce, maybe like the baked beans. The pulled pork simmered in its own juices in big chunks until served. I also got the Spicy and Tart N' Tangy sauces. The spicy sauce has a real good kick to it. The Tart N' Tangy was one of the best NC Vinegar based sauces that I have had since leaving in 1998. Will be back for the pulled Chicken and ribs.

A bit pricey but always exceptional service. The food is ok, but good to have as something different sometimes.

Not impressed with the food. The service was bad. Seems they were elsewhere instead of assisting customers. My food was all luke warm at best. Don't think I will try it again kind of left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). Just not a good place to eat for the price either.

We stopped here after reading great reviews, but won't bother returning. All food is kept in warmers, the buns were less than fresh and the coleslaw was flavorless. It is fast food BBQ, but not that good. I would have given it a 2.5 because I liked the greens, but my husband said 1 or 2. I'm going with the larger number because the staff was pleasant and cleaned up our table as we finished. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 5:30ish, which is also an indication that the ratings were too high. Dickies in Michigan is much better.
