Food is amazing and a welcome slice of Hawaiian sunshine on a cold Ohio night in a rural college town! It definitely satisfied my need for Hawaiian barbecue!!

Quiet spot for lunch. Price point was decent and quick service Katsu masubi and Katsu were a little thin as per the style but ended up being more breading. Macaroni salad was excellent. Happy to find POG other than in Hawaii. Overall it's a good spot for Oxford and variety. As a parent I'm a little more particular than the kids.

Have gotten door dash delivery from here a few times and each time was delicious! I have tried the teriyaki beef which was good but my favorite is the BBQ chicken plate with rice and salad. Food has always been very fresh and portions are a nice size for a good price. I am definitely interested in visiting the store itself in the future!

Food was ready when I asked for it. They had a protein only option so I ordered that. Very good, well seasoned, and the portion was generous.

Always in the mood for musubi, there's did NOT disappoint. It was plentiful and quite delicious! We also ordered the bbq chicken, which had really great flavor. The short ribs had an interesting flavor to it that I couldn't place, but it wasn't what I was used to. The lumpia was ok (I'm a filipino, so I'm a little bit of a snob when it comes to lumpia). The Kaluha pork was also full of flavor and what I expected. Great little establishment and is within walking distance to a little square where they have summer festivals.

This place was a 45 min drive for me so I picked up three meals. The loco moco was just bland and lacked any flavor. The Chicken Katsu Curry was ok but it depended heavily on the sauce for flavor which there wasn't very much included. Finally the BBQ Chicken came with Teriyaki Sauce which was fantastic, the problem I have with it is that the sauce tastes just like Bachan's BBQ Sauce (IYKYK). When I go out to eat it's to get something that I can't make as good at home. Overall the portions of food were good it just lacked flavor.

Fun idea- food with an Hawaiian flair! We ordered the spam musubi (yes Spam!) and the chicken Katsu curry. The chicken came with the curry sauce on the side. The prices are very reasonable. Would recommend this restaurant.

Food is amazing every time we've been . The portion sizes are awesome and I'm always especially impressed with how juicy and tender the meats are . I do wish that they had a kids menu though . The portion sizes are just too much for most children.

Ohana means family, but WELA means HOT and that's what it is...it's HOT in here! Yes, it's summer in Ohio and there are definitely no Hawaiian trade winds blowing here. Twenty (20) minute wait in off season? I can only imagine what it's like when the Miami University students are in town. There are two families in this restaurant...and that's including mine. If you are in a hurry, you better e hoolohi (slow down)!Sadly, the menu is also very disappointing. I was fully expecting to see a Schwann truck parked out back or my childhood lunch lady donning a full hairnet in the back because the food was reheated Salisbury-steak circa 1986 bad. In fact, there's little authentic Hawaiian fare on the menu, besides SPAM. The most refreshing part of the experience was the canned Hawaiian juice, but at $2.50 a pop it's tempting to walk a block to the gas station and save 50%. Two stars because it's nice to see something unique in this college town. But, seriously, it's not good. I mean, not even one pineapple on the menu? Aloha means hello and goodbye but it also means pity and grief. So, to sum up the entire experience in one word: ALOHA.

Delicious food and low key atmosphere. Great flavor! Had Beef Teriyaki dishes, chicken katsu and saimin. Will definitely return. Priced very reasonable as well.
