Norwood Delite Creamy Whip

Bring your cash and hurry over to the Norwwod Delite Creamy Whip.I say hurry as this is a traditional summer only soft serve joint. Per Facebook, August 25th is closing day until 2025. Large portions, value driven prices, and super friendly staff. Many folks bring their friendly dogs and share a bench or picnic table. I'm sure the dogs will share yours, don't bother asking the dogs to share theirs. LolParking can be an issue, the lot is small and street parking is not plentiful. However, you won't be here long. A quick blue cone or traditional chocolate vanilla swirl, and you're on your way. If you're in Norwood before August 25th, grab a cone. You won't be sorry.

Always a great experience, very quick, kind people, and delicious creamy whip. I love that they also have both blueberry creamy whip and pineapple dole whip. This place is a Norwood classic!

Soft service ice cream on a gorgeous summer Friday - what's not to love? As a Norwood resident, I drive by Norwood Delite Creamy Whip all the time but finally decided to pop in for the first time before the summer is over! I was quickly greeted and placed my standard order (medium chocolate/vanilla swirl cone with rainbow sprinkles). As to be expected, the ice cream was delicious but melted very quickly in the summer heat. There were plenty of places to sit and enjoy my treat before heading home. One thing to note - they only take cash so make sure you come prepared!

Finally got some traditional blue softserve like the Kings Island one I used to get all the time. I decided to be patriotic and get blueberry dipped in cherry, it was very good! Beware it is messy!! They give you a few napkins but youll need a lot if you get it dipped. Also FYI they ONLY take CASH!!! They dont really advertise this anywhere. I checked on their facebook, instagram, etc and no mention of cash only anywhere so we showed up and had to realize that when we got there.

I am so thrilled to have tried the Norwood Delite Creamy Whip!! We have come on a few occasions since they have opened for the season. Both times I have opted for a classic choice- chocolate soft serve ice cream, dipped in rainbow sprinkles, in a cake cone. To me this is the quintessential summer treat, and I will probably have it many times this summer! My husband tried a different sundae on each visit and I challenged him to with his way through the sundae menu and try them all! The staff has been very friendly every time. Don't forget to bring cash because they are a cash only establishment!

Lots of menu items: sweet ice cream treats plus food stand food and Dole Whip. The line shows how popular this place is! A Staff member helped me with a recommendation so I could decide among all the options. The sundae made with chocolate soft serve, hot fudge, and whipped cream was delicious and definitely invites a repeat trip! I was especially impressed by the individual flavors of each part: the chocolate soft serve was great and tasted even better paired with the hot fudge. The whipped cream tasted home made and definitely not like a store bought canned cream. I was very impressed! Sitting outside on picnic tables or benches was very comfortable and part of the experience!Note: cash only.

This is a little hole in the wall soft serve ice cream place! I ordered a small swirl, and it was delicious on a hot summer day. They are cash only, so make sure you have some on hand when you stop in!

This place is great! The owner is so nice, she's a teacher so the hours and days of operation are limited. I haven't tried the food, but it smells delish. They also have free pup cups with a purchase. Parking is very limited, but there's a nice seating area in front. A lot of the items are very customizable as well, which i love bc chocolate is my fav. This is in walking distance from me, so i will be here all summer! CASH ONLY!!
