We discovered Northwood Cider Company after attending a Yelp Event there last month. Since we live 45 minutes away, we would never have happened upon it, but we're so glad we did!I can't figure out exactly why, but this place has such a great vibe! Maybe it's all the natural light and live plants. Maybe it's the friendly and helpful staff. Maybe it's that they are inclusive of all people (love that they have 4 unisex bathrooms). Maybe it's all the fun events they have and that they seem to really care about their community. But even with all those things, at the end of the day they need to have a good product and they definitely do! We have tried quite a few ciders and they all have been top notch, with some real creative flavors. Today we went to a cider and ice cream pairing which was so fun!We wished we lived closer so we could visit more often but it's definitely worth the drive from south Dayton when we have an open afternoon!

Cool spots with all the different house brewed cider options, from sweet to dry and sour. I had the bomberry which was delicious, fruity and sweet. Still not overly sweet, though that is their sweetest offering so it may not be for everyone.Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Inside was pretty crowded for a card show and they have different events throughout the week. The food options are very limited, but a food truck is outside some days. And prices for a hotdog or pretzel are very reasonable. I do wish there was some outdoor seating options. Inside was a little bit dark. Definitely a cool spot to check out again

A hidden gem in Norwood! I've driven by here many times and had no idea just how open and inviting this place can be.We were greeted by the knowledgeable cidertender, my word, not their's. Well, maybe their's too.The ciders are ordered dry to sweet on the menu. I went with the middle. Nice, clear, and well balanced. The place is deceptively large, hidden behind the Speedway. I seem to recall it was an auto mechanic shop "back in the day."On our visit there was a group of musicians, strings, etc. Their Celtic sound enhanced the environment quite a bit.A nice mix of people, from families playing games (while mom & dad enjoy a cider), people meeting and taking noyes about who knows, and folks simply enjoying a cold cider after a long day.Good place to chill.Given the opportunity, I'll be back.

Stopped by here after seeing they had a vegan seafood pop happening so we definitely had to come check it out! I'm not much of a cider drinker what so ever - but I must say, this spot has some delicious options. Granted I ended up with a the 9 giant ipa they had on draft but the Solstice, 1903 and violet were great tasting!

We went here for a event I saw on Facebook. A book fair but with cider and a food truck. The venue has a nice set up picnic tables and a good size bar. Our bartender was so nice and very informative. I ordered a flight of ciders. Each one was delicious but lavender ginger was my favorite. I wish they sold all their ciders in the cans. I definitely would have bought a few

Delicious cider! Sweet, dry, and unique options made getting a flight of cider super fun. I wanted to try a couple more but sadly they weren't able to do samples without selling an entire additional flight. I'd suggest adding single samples or half pours as an option. Ambiance was pretty basic, it's a large, bright room. Staff was friendly and fun. There is SO much beer in Cincy, this place was a really nice break!

I visited here to visit friends. There was a fun comedy show going on, that was entertaining to listen to. We didn't know about it going in, and were asked to go sit in the side area, so just an FYI if you're going to go here to visit friends. They don't have food but the cider is delicious.

I'm a sucker for craft cideries and this place gets all the points! It's in an inconspicuous location across the street from the Kroger in Norwood and if you don't look carefully you'll go right past it!Inside there is plenty of seating, mostly large picnic tables. There's a cute photo op as well (see the picture)Their ciders are truly on point. They have a large selection with a cider for everyone's taste; from dry to sweet and everything in between. There are some food options including a pretzel that looks delicious and some popcorn/chips, though I have never actually ordered any of that.Service is all at the bar and they are quick and friendly! My only critique is that I wish they had more of their different ciders for sale in cans to take home!
