We had a great time at Northside. It's was a small simple place, but the product they are selling is small batch and solid. At the very least you should stop in for a tasting if you're in the area. Our server was friendly, talkative and well versed in their product. He told me they distill in-house and most of their barrel aging takes place in a nearby family barn. (Could be wrong about this, but it sounds about right). Our tasting was of five different spirits for around $12. I sampled bottle pours of their Limited Release Braille Bourbon, Bourbon, Single Barrel Bourbon, 3 month old Oak Barrel aged Gin and a two year Añejo Tequila straight from a barrel in the back. He also poured a splash of their Vodka and included a taste of their American Agave Tequila.I thought the winner taste wise was the Añejo Tequila. I'm not much of a Tequila person, but I thought the flavors were outstanding. Their bourbons were smooth, simple (don't quote me but I think he said aged seven years) and around $65 a bottle. The gin was light and smooth. I would say most of what I tried would be good for cocktails, but they weren't bad at all served neat.We were the only ones in there for awhile on a Friday afternoon, but once work let out some thirsty folks came in. Check these guys out and support them if you can. Well worth the tasting and conversation! Thanks again guys!!

100% recommend! I enjoyed this nice little hole in the wall spot. The staff working was super accommodating and friendly. I was able to try their bourbon, gin, and vodka. I also had this nice cranberry mixed drink that was delicious and had a nice bite to it. I really enjoyed the bourbon the most and hope to return again in the near future to pick up a bottle. I'm not usually a gin or vodka person but really enjoyed both! The vodka would be perfect for a nice Moscow Mule. I highly recommend swinging by this little small business, trying what the distill in house, and lounge around with some good company. There are plenty of great food spots in walking distance and worth the stop in!

The service was great. Their drinks are all brewed in house and are A1 from Day 1. The ambiance are soft, welcoming, and warm vibes.

Such a fun atmosphere. The cocktails were amazing. The bourbon was probably my favorite of the house spirits. Sadly, I didn't get any pics as my phone died. 10/10 will be back

I attended a recent event at Northside Distillery and it was such a fun time! While the venue is a little tight, they really utilize the space as best as they can. They offered a variety of $5 cocktails to the attendees and those were very refreshing. I had the mule, but substituted the vodka for gin, and was very impressed with the flavors. Sampling their in-house distilled spirits was really cool (vodka, gin, and bourbon). The vodka was very smooth and the gin wasn't overwhelming in taste with juniper, which I personally prefer in my gin. There were a couple other businesses at the event - Honey Child popsicles and Kettle of Corn - both were so wonderful! The owners were incredibly kind and the quality of their products was phenomenal! The kettle corn wasn't too sweet, but had a great flavor and crunch. I had the chocolate cherry popsicle and holy moly - it was so good!! 10/10 would recommend! I'll definitely keep this distillery in my mind when going downtown for future visits - thank you Northside!

Before the pandemic started, I had a really great experience here. The bartender was super friendly had had great suggestions. We did some drinks and shots of things I'd never heard of, and also tasted some of their products on their own. One interesting drink has you eat a weird little flower that tingles and then take a shot that brings it all together. That's what our picture is lol.I did go back for my birthday this year, and they had just opened back up after pandemic closings (July). I was excited to show my friends how cool it was, since we all live about an hour away. Unfortunately they had almost nothing in stock and could only make Dark n Stormys or mules. It doesn't change my review because I have high hopes that they will get back to their quirky drink menu just as soon as they can. The bartender this time around was also rad, so kudos for for quality staffing! I hope to go back in spring 22 to see how they are doing.

We stumbled into a private party here and ended up staying - why not?! The drinks looked awesome and there was live music. I had the best Moscow mule of my life here, made with Northside Distillery gin. The raspberries in it were a nice touch and cute garnish. Worth the $8. They offer different twists on classic drinks - Moscow mule, Manhattan, White Russian (nicknamed 'the dude') and many more. They also sell some local craft beers including Rhinegeist. They sell pizzas too that smelled and looked amazing, although we didn't try one. There was live music on a Saturday night and lots of games you could borrow and play as well. We had a great time and I know you can pay a bit extra to go on a tour and sample as well.

A lot of good vodka and whiskey is served at Northside Distillery. It's located in the Downtown. This is even though it's made in Northside. At least it was at first. They now make their alcohol right there. I had a Northside Mule. It's about $8 for a glass. This is made with the house vodka. It uses lower proof alcohol in these beverages. They sell you bottles of the harder stuff. Of course this is more expensive. The hardest proof vodka is about $50 for a bottle, and some are even more. I liked the vodka and the atmosphere. It's a nice place for relaxing after work with a drink. This is located a few blocks from numerous parking spaces.
