Popped into NY Pizza Company on a whim. I'm definitely going back. This is definitely what you'd expect in a NY pizza spot. You walk in and there are 4-5 pies ready for you to grab a slice. It's pretty low key and informal with lots of NY memorabilia on the walls. It's a good place to pop into for a quick bite, to take kids for an informal meal, etc. I actually grabbed a pepperoni and sausage pie to go but decided to stay and eat there. The large was truly enormous and could probably be cut into 16 reasonable slices. The crust was the right amount of floppy but not soggy and flavorless - quite the opposite ... great flavor. I have to call out the staff - they were so friendly and accommodating even though it's not a table service spot. They were always checking in, making sure the food was ok, offering beverages, and helping other customers with the same level of care. I'm going back and you should definitely try it out.

If you like New York Pizza this is the place to go in Louisville. By far the best pizza I've had in the city. Andrew and his team prepare a classic N.Y. style pizza with a great under carriage and great sauce. In addition to 14" and 20"pizzas you can get giant slices as well. The inside of the place is small but inviting with New York memorabilia and NY sports items. Service and staff friendly and quick we ordered online and picked it up 30 minutes later, enjoyed a nice IPA while I waited, they have a nice/small selection of canned beer and draft beer. Looks like there's a patio out back that could be a great spot to enjoy a slice during summer.Overall I would give you pizza 8.4 out of 10 on the Portnoy scale. Closest to John's on Bleecker I have had in the Midwest. Overall loved it, definitely will be returning!

Got to try this place during pizza week. I wanted to go somewhere I've never been so this was at the top of my list. I have heard of this place and how good the pizza was. I went on a night that they are not normally open and they were only open that night for pizza week. It was somewhat busy but not too bad. I did have to wait for pepperoni pizza to be made but that's ok. I just sat at a booth and waited for my pizza. It is small on the inside and they have some local craft beer. There is also outside seating. I got a slice of pepperoni and a Margherita pizza. These slices are so big you could make them to where you can get 4 slices. That's what I did when I got home and saved additional slices for later. The pizza is as good as people have said it is. Very crispy and not overcooked. I definitely plan on coming back here. Good pizza good service, yup.

After passing New York Pizza Co. at the top of my street for so long, we had to stop by. And so far, we're liking it!We ordered a pepperoni pizza last night. This pizza was HUGE! (Yet, we still somehow ate it all. :-P) The crust -- the unsung hero of pizza -- was great. I loved the sauce and would like even more of it actually. The service when I ordered over the phone was friendly and fast. If someday New York Pizza gets online ordering, I'll be all about that too. They also offer pizza by the slice, and with many specialty pies, like their white pizza with prosciutto, it could be nice to try a slice first before committing to an entire pie. We will be stopping by for sure. Looking forward to many repeat visits to this new pizza spot!

Legit NY pizza!!! Foldable, perfectly chewy but lightly crisp crust, quality (and plentiful) toppings, available by the full 20" pie or a "slice" that's a fourth of that! The slice counter is incredible, which is key--so many choices for every taste (meats, veggies, some really tasty white pizza options). If you like NY style pizza, check it out! If you don't, this may change your mind. And you can wash down with a beer (tap and cans) or soft drink.Space is small, but there is a patio. Perfectly good atmosphere, to be clear, just not a ton of space inside. Counter service, and they are extremely helpful in guiding you through the options.Great spot!

100%, delish, NY style. No frills, nothing fancy, just amazing foldable slices. I would recommend this place for pizza above every other spot in town. Easy.

Best New York style pizza I've had in Louisville. Crust is amazing, and just enough flop for NY style pizza. Our group couldn't decide on a pizza so we all got Slices. A normal slice is 1/4 of a Large pizza, but they will half it(1/8) if you ask. Tried the Cheese(excellent), the Pepperoni (awesome), and the Sausage(the best). I got adventurous and tried a slice of the Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizza they had, and it was the best decision I made that night. It was unlike anything I've ever had on a pizza and I think I could eat a whole large one by myself. Can't wait to try this place in the spring and use their covered patio, it's set up real nice.

No better pizza have I ever had than New York Pizza Company. They sell by the slice or a whole pie, just be prepared for the supersize of everything. The decor is dark, cool, and hip. The outside color sets a vibe as well with red and black trim. Several pizza slice options sit on the counter and on the opposite end is a beverage refrigerator sits.Superior friendly service that go over all of your options. He question every customer as they leave with "how was the pizza". That says they believe in their product. One taste of it will convince you as well. Started with the sweet sausage pizza slice. This thing blew me away, I will get this from now on. I fell deeply in love with it and I was in a trance.Ordered a meat lover pie and was shocked off big it was. The biggest pie I have ever had. It was very good as well. Don't walk but run to try it. If you have had it, you already know.

This was my first time there. We asked for extra cheese but received extra pepperonis. The pizza needed more cheese. The flavor wasn't bad. Each slice is kind of expensive. We're talking about $10 for a speciality slice. For a whole pizza with extra cheese is about $30.You have to buy water. Each twenty five cent bottle of water will cost you $2.I never heard of a restaurant that will only sell you rip off water. I suggest you bring your own drinks. They do not offer military discount. Boo!!!!!They only serve dinner Tuesday-- Sunday from 5pm--12am.Only 1 person working to wait on all tables. Like I said, they're skimpy on the cheese and a rip off on the drinks.

Positives: The restaurant was nice and appeared to be clean and well kept. But the man touched my pizza with his bare hands and that I found to be disgusting and just rude. Why no spatula?? gloves? something.... The pizza was overcooked and dry but would have been good had it been taken out a few minutes sooner.
